Achieving high accuracy and precision in ocular biometry has become primordial for cataract surgery, due to the shift of cataract surgery from a rehabilitation procedure to a refractive one. Aim of this study is to determine the repeatability of ocular biometric parameters obtained using three biometry devices, two ss-OCT biometers and an OLCR device.
In this pilot study, 30 prevalent hemodialysis patients will undergo three regular hemodialysis sessions during which various potassium assessments will be performed. Pre- (t1) and post-dialysis (t2) plasma potassium levels (K+Pl) will be measured using standard ion-selective electrodes. These values will be correlated to K+ determine in saliva probes (K+Sa) using genetically encoded potassium ion indicators (GEPIIs). Additionally, continuous ECG will be recorded during each hemodialysis treatment and potassium assessment (K+ECG) will be performed upon ECG-based parameters and correlated to K+Pl.
The aim is to collect long-term clinical data from 132 patients from Belgium, Germany and Austria who had previously participated in either of the BIOLUX P-I or P-II studies. Patients in these studies were treated with either a percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) balloon catheter or a drug-coated Passe-18-Lux balloon (DCB). The purpose of Retro-BIOLUX P-I-II is to collect clinical data from patients treated with either Passeo-18 PTA or Passeo-18 Lux DCB to analyze the long-term effects.

The primary objective for Part A of the study is to assess the pharmacokinetics (PK) of evinacumab in pediatric patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of intratumoral (IT) ulevostinag PLUS pembrolizumab (MK-3475) compared to pembrolizumab alone as a first line treatment of adults with metastatic or unresectable, recurrent head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). The primary study hypotheses are that IT ulevostinag in combination with pembrolizumab results in a superior Objective Response Rate (ORR), per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors Version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1), compared to pembrolizumab alone: 1. In participants with a tumor that has a programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) Combined Positive Scoring (CPS) ≥ 1, and 2. In participants with a tumor that has a PD-L1 CPS ≥ 20.
The purpose of this study is to try to find the best dose of the new drug BAY 2433334 to give to participants and to look at how well BAY 2433334 works in patients with irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) that can lead to blood clots, stroke and other heart-related complications. In addition researchers want to compare the safety of the study drug to apixaban, a non-vitamin K oral anticoagulant (NOAC) in patients with atrial fibrillation. This study is also done to learn how the drug in this study moves into, through and out of the body. BAY 2433334, works by blocking a step of the blood clotting process in our body and thins the blood and is a so called oral FXIa inhibitor. Apixaban, works by reducing the production of blood clotting factors in our body and thins the blood and is a so called non-vitamin K oral anticoagulant (NOAC). Thinning the blood can prevent you from blood clots which can cause a stroke.
The purpose of the study is to see if treatment with nivolumab plus bempegaldesleukin or nivolumab alone, before and after surgery to remove the bladder, is more effective than surgery alone in participants with high-risk urothelial cancer, including muscle-invasive bladder cancer who are not able to receive cisplatin chemotherapy.
