There are about 4010 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Argentina. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The reason for this study is to determine the long-term efficacy and safety of the study drug mirikizumab in participants with Crohn's disease.
Goals Primary: compare changes in norepinephrine requirements before and after hemoperfusion (HP) treatment. Secondary: demonstrate the decrease in levels of IL-6 , assess the total and individual change of SEQUENTIAL ORGAN FAILURE ASSESSMENT (SOFA), establish the resolution of shock , clearance of lactate , and mortality at discharge from INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU), at 30 and 60 days.
This study is being done to see how well two drugs (enfortumab vedotin and pembrolizumab) work together to treat patients with urothelial cancer. The study will compare these drugs to other drugs that are usually used to treat this cancer (standard of care). The patients in this study will have cancer that has spread from their urinary system to other parts of their body.
There is little evidence about the mechanical characteristics and muscular function in patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) at the time of weaning of the mechanical ventilation, as well as the behavior of the mechanical properties, breathing pattern, muscular effort, and gas exchange during a successful and failed spontaneous breathing trial.
Post-authorisation, multicentric, observational, retrospective and prospective study to assess quality of care of sarcoma patients in expert and non-expert centers by analysing correlation of quality items and outcomes such as relapse free survival, overall survival, percentage of amputation, etc. Expert pathology peer review will be performed to detect differences between expert and non-expert centers as well as differences in treatment and patient prognosis. Tumor samples of 4 types of sarcoma would also be included in translational research to detect biomarkers and produce preclinical models.
Changes in the vascular tone of anesthetized patients is common and cause hemodynamic problems. The investigators have previously demonstrated that the shape of the pulse oximetry waveform (photoplethysmography) is closely related to the changes observed in systemic vascular resistence. The main change in pulse waveform is based to the dichrotic notch position. The present study was designed to determine if the dichrotic notch position is related to a local or a systemic change in the vascular tone.
This is a Phase 2/3 study that comprises 5 substudies designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of oral etrasimod as therapy in adult participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease (CD) who are refractory or intolerant to at least 1 of the current therapies for CD (ie, corticosteroids, immunosuppressants, or biologics). The overall duration of this study is up to 282 weeks, inclusive of the Screening Period, Treatment Period of up to 274 weeks (Induction, Extension or Maintenance, and Long-term Extension Periods), and the 4-Week Follow-Up Period for safety assessment.
This is an open-label, non-comparator, global, multi-center, long-term safety study for evaluating safety and tolerability of linerixibat in participants with cholestatic pruritus in primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) who participated in a prior clinical trial with linerixibat (BAT117123 [NCT01899703], 201000 GLIMMER [NCT02966834] (group 1) or 212620 GLISTEN [NCT00210418]) (group 2). All participants will receive open-label linerixibat for the duration of the study. The study duration is expected to last until the study's end or until linerixibat can be lawfully made available to participants. However, the total duration of study participation will vary by participant depending upon the time of entry relative to study end in their respective country.
The use of acetic acid in the characterization of polyps, produces a homogeneous white staining in sessile serrated adenomas, but not in tubular or tubulo-villous adenomas, a simple approach to predict polyp histopathology. To determine the diagnostic accuracy of the use of acetic acid on tubular and serrated adenomas, during colonoscopy, a prospective diagnostic accuracy study was designed, taking as gold standard the pathological anatomy of the resected polyps. Polyps found during a colonoscopy with suspicion of sessile serrated adenomas or tubular/tubulo villous will be included.
In this observational study researcher want to learn more about the effectiveness of drug VITRAKVI (generic name: larotrectinib) and how well the drug is tolerated during routine use in patients with TRK fusion cancer which is locally advanced or spread from the place where it started to other places in the body. TRK fusion cancer is a term used to describe a variety of common and rare cancers that are caused by a change to the NTRK (Neurotrophic Tyrosine Kinase) gene called a fusion. During this fusion, an NTRK gene joins together, or fuses, with a different gene. This joining results in the activation of certain proteins (TRK fusion proteins), which can cause cancer cells to multiply and form a tumor. VITRAKVI is an approved drug that blocks the action of the NTRK gene fusion. This study will enroll adult and paediatric patients suffering from a solid tumor with NTRK gene fusion for whom the decision to treat their disease with VITRAKVI has been made by their treating physicians. During the study, patients' medical information such as treatment information with VITRAKVI, other medication or treatments, changes in disease status and other health signs and symptoms will be collected within the normal medical care by the treating doctor. Participants will be observed over a period from 24 to 60 months.
