Filter by:Background: One way to treat liver cancer is to deliver chemotherapy drugs only to the liver (and not to the whole body). Researchers want to see if adding the drug M9241 can improve the treatment. The drug triggers the immune system to fight cancer.<TAB> Objective: To see if treatment with HAIPs to deliver liver-directed chemotherapy in combination with M9241 is effective for certain cancers. Eligibility: People aged 18 and older who have cancer of the bile ducts that is only in the liver, or colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. Design: Participants will be screened with: Medical history Physical exam Blood tests Pregnancy test (if needed) Tumor biopsy (if needed) Electrocardiogram Computed tomography (CT) scans Participants will have an abdominal operation. A catheter will be placed into an artery that feeds blood to the liver. The catheter will then be attached to the HAIP. The HAIP will lay under the skin on the left side of the abdomen. Participants will have chemotherapy drugs or heparin with saline infused into the HAIP every 2 weeks. M9241 will be injected under the skin every 4 weeks. They will get systemic chemotherapy through an IV or mediport every 2 weeks. They will receive this treatment until their cancer gets worse or they have bad side effects. Participants will have 2 study visits each month. They will have CT scans every 8 weeks. At visits, they will repeat some screening tests. Participants will have a follow-up visit 1 month after treatment ends. Then they will be contacted every 6 months for 5 years.
This study is designed as an open-label, dose-escalation manner to determine the MFD of chidamide in combination with celecoxib in patients with advanced mCRC.
In May of 2021, the United States Preventive Service Task Force (USPSTF) updated their colorectal cancer (CRC) screening guidelines by recommending screening at an earlier age for average-risk adults starting at the age of 45 years old (Grade B recommendation). This is in addition to their Grade A recommendations of continuing to screen average-risk adults ages 50-75 years old. As the investigators health system aims to screen the newly eligible population of average-risk patients between the ages of 45-49, the investigators proposed randomized controlled trial is aimed to determine the most effective patient outreach approach to increase patients' engagement with messages regarding CRC screening and screening uptake within this specific age-group.

Nimotuzumab is an IgG1 humanized monoclonal antibody that recognized an epitope located in the extra cellular domain of the human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Clinical efficacy has been shown in adult with head and neck cancer. This is a multicenter, randomized, controlled, phase II study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tislelizumab combined with cetuximab and irinotecan(group A) compared to third-line regimens selected by researchers(group B) in the treatment of Ras wild-type recurrent and refractory metastatic colorectal cancer. This study will include Ras wild-type colorectal cancer that failed at least second-line treatment inthe past, including chemotherapy (oxaliplatin, irinotecan, fluorouracil) with or without targeted drugs (cetuximab, bevacizumab). 87 patients will be randomly assigned to group A and group B according to 2:1. The enrollment time is expected to be 12 months and the follow-up is expected to be 24 months.
The PIPAC NAL-IRI study is designed to examine the maximal tolerated dose of nanoliposomal irinotecan (Nal-IRI, Onivyde) administered with repeated pressurized intraperitoneal aerosol chemotherapy (PIPAC), in a monocentric, phase I trial.

This study is an individual patient expanded access protocol that the subject enrolled had completed the combination treatment of CA102N plus Lonsurf for at least 12 cycles.
The study aims to evaluate the impact of promoting advice on the latest evidence-based diet and lifestyle recommendations for cancer prevention at colorectal cancer (CRC) screening among individuals who may be at higher risk for developing CRC. The overall aim of this LIFE-SCREEN pilot study is to test the trial methods and procedures to be used in the LIFE-SCREEN cluster randomized RCT, in order to discover obstacles and problems prior to the main RCT so that corrective actions can be taken to improve the research process. The patients (n=40) will be recruited at the Centre Léon Bérard and at the Hôpital Edouard Herriot at the time of CRC screening. After inclusion, the intervention material (documents explaining the strategies to achieve and maintain recommended behaviours as part of a healthier lifestyle) may be given to the patient during the pre-colonoscopy consultation and/or at the post-colonoscopy visit. Weight, height and blood pressure will be measured during the pre-colonoscopy consultation. Patients will be invited to complete a baseline questionnaire to collect information on their lifestyle, state of health and socio-demographic status. Approximately four to six weeks after, patients will also be asked to complete an evaluation questionnaire asking for their opinion on this material and the procedures. Focus groups with available and willing participants and hospital staff will be organized at the end of the pilot phase recruitment, to gather additional information on the intervention procedures. In addition, all hospital staff will be asked to complete an assessment questionnaire. Biological samples will then also be collected to test the objective baseline measure of nutritional changes used in the RCT. In order to assess the feasibility and the acceptability of urine, faecal and blood sample collection in this population, the first ten participants recruited (n=10) will be given the option to refuse one or more of the biological sample collections (phase I). Participants will also be asked to complete a questionnaire to provide information on their opinion and willingness to donate biological samples. This assessment questionnaire will allow us to refine the strategies for the other 30 participants (phase II). In this phase II, biological samples will be compulsory (phase IIa) or optional (phase IIb) for all 30 participants.
