Filter by:The main purpose of this study is to determine the threshold level of lower extremity CIPN symptoms that put patients who have been prescribed a neurotoxic chemotherapy agent (e.g., paclitaxel, docetaxel, oxaliplatin or cisplatin) as part of their treatment regimen for cancer at-risk for falling. The investigators believe that by specifying early CIPN symptoms that predict fall-risk, The investigators will ultimately be able to identify at-risk patients who could be referred to rehabilitative services to prevent injurious falls while enabling them to continue the chemotherapy treatment that could save their lives.
This study aims to explore the prevention of delayed chemotherapy induced by CAPOX regimen with granisetron transdermal patch。
This is a phase II trial to explore efficacy and safety of niraparib in combination with anlotinib based on CA 125 level in newly diagnosed ovarian cancer. After completion of 1st-line platinum-based chemotherapy with a normal CA-125 concentration, in patients with CA-125 increased > 35U/ml, and with no evidence of imaging recurrence, niraparib and anlotinib are used as 1st maintenance therapy for newly diagnosed advanced ovarian cancer after achieving complete or partial remission to platinum-containing chemotherapy. The primary objective of this study is to explore the efficacy of niraparib combined with anlotinib based on CA 125 level in newly diagnosed ovarian cancer with no evidence of imaging recurrence. A total o f36 patients will be enrolled in this study.
This study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of Donafenib combined with paclitaxel and platinum ± programmed death 1 monoclonal antibody (PD-1 antibody) in patients with recurrent cervical cancer.
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most frequent cancer in children, decreases in adolescence and adulthood, and a second peak can be recorded starting from the 6th decade of life. While the outcome in children is excellent, in the adolescent/adult population, the prognosis, though improved over the decades, it is still unsatisfactory and novel biologically-driven approaches are urgently needed. In this setting, thanks to the introduction of genome wide technologies, it was possible to recognize specific subset of ALL. Among those, the BCR/ABL1-like ALL are of extreme importance, since they are characterized by an unfavourable outcome and, on the other hand, can benefit of a targeted treatment, in particular with the pan-tyrosine kinase inhibitor ponatinib. The primary objective is to evaluate the clinical response - in terms of MRD negativity - in patients with a BCR/ABL1-like profile, according to the BCR/ABL1-like predictor tool, treated with Ponatinib in combination with chemotherapy.
This study will assess pharmacokinetic (PK)/pharmacodynamic (PD) relationships and whether BXQ-350 may decrease the intensity and/or duration of chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) thereby improving quality of life (QoL) in cancer patients who have been exposed to oxaliplatin and/or taxane-based chemotherapy. This study includes two randomized, placebo controlled, blinded treatment cycles of BXQ-350/placebo, an optional open-label BXQ-350 treatment period, and an unblinded Post-Treatment Follow-up period.
This is a updated trial of NCT04188860 as a multi-center study. For recurrent or persistent advanced cervical cancer patients, the first-line chemotherapy was based on platinum. However, if they were refractory to platinum-based chemotherapy, there were no other more effective medications or treatment. The marketing of anti-PD-1 antibody has provided an opportunity of curative management. This single arm, open, phase II trial would recruit 122 eligible patients. A combination of anti-PD-1 antibody camrelizumab and albumin-bound paclitaxel would be given for all patients. The primary end is overall response rate (ORR). The second ends include progression-free survival, overall survival, disease control rate, remission duration, and adverse events. A molecular testing, mainly consisting of genomic analysis, will be carried in the oncologic tissues.
The investigators propose to apply neuroplasticity-based computerized cognitive remediation (nCCR) to treat chemotherapy-related cognitive impairment (CRCI).
To assess if biomarkers can be used to predict early treatment related neurotoxicity in patients with Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) or lymphoblastic lymphoma (LBL) and to inform development of novel interventions.
The association between multiple myeloma (MM) and venous thromboembolism (VTE) is well known. Indeed, the incidence of VTE is increased in patients with newly diagnosed MM and in patients treated by immunomodulatory drugs in combination with glucocorticoids. Moreover, the clinical outcome of MM is supposed to be correlated to the risk of thrombosis. At the biological level, a number of hemostasis abnormalities participate in increasing VTE incidence. Yet, data on predictive biomarkers linked to VTE are limited.
