NCT ID: NCT05921474 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

Detection of Circulating Tumor DNA After Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy in Patients With Unbiopsied Lung Tumors

SABR-DETECT
Start date: April 3, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this observational study is to determine if liquid biopsies from patients with stage I non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) can add to the diagnosis of a small lung cancer, or can better detect recurrent lung cancer compared to the standard of care procedures used for diagnosing this type of cancer. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: - Primary Objective: 1) To assess whether liquid biopsy for molecular residual disease during follow-up can predict a recurrence of lung cancer - Secondary Objectives: 1. To assess the impact of SABR on detection rates of ctDNA in patients undergoing SABR for early-stage lung tumors. 2. To correlate positivity by blood-based cancer detection platforms and pre-treatment probability of malignancy using the Brock and Herder models. Study investigators will also assess the rate of detection for targetable mutations in this patient population, and to correlate ctDNA findings, in patients without tissue confirmed disease. Blood samples from participants will collected at eight (8) time-points: before the participant's first radiation treatment, following their first treatment and then at their 3-month, 6-month, 9-month, 12-month, 18-month and 24-month follow-up visits.

Start date: November 16, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to compare progression-free survival (PFS) in participants who receive sotorasib with platinum doublet chemotherapy versus participants who receive pembrolizumab with platinum doublet chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT05920135 Recruiting - Clinical trials for EGFR Mutant Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

First-in-Human Study of BBT-207 in Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Harboring EGFR Mutation After Treatment With EGFR TKI

Start date: September 11, 2023
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open label, multi-center, Phase 1/2 study evaluating the safety, tolerability, PK, PD, and preliminary efficacy (antitumor activity) of BBT-207. It will consist of 3 parts; dose escalation, recommended phase 2 dose selection, and dose expansion.

NCT ID: NCT05919641 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

LIVELUNG - Impact of CGA in Patients Diagnosed With Localized NSCLC Treated With SBRT

LIVELUNG
Start date: September 29, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Older patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated with stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) often die from other causes than lung cancer due to age-related comorbidities. This national randomized study will include 130 patients throughout 5 Danish cancer centres and investigate if a comprehensive geriatric intervention (CGA) when added upfront to SBRT for patients with localized NSCLC will have an impact on quality of life (QoL), overall survival, physical functionality and unplanned hospital admissions. If an upfront CGA improves patients' general health status, this study could lead to implementation of a CGA in standard clinical practice as well as further research on older patients receiving radiotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT05919264 Recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

FOG-001 in Locally Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumors

Start date: May 19, 2023
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to determine if FOG-001 is safe and effective in participants with locally advanced or metastatic cancer.

NCT ID: NCT05913089 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

A Clinical Study of TQB2450 Injection Combined With Chemotherapy or Anlotinib Hydrochloride Capsule in the Treatment of Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: June 14, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a clinical study on the efficacy and safety of TQB2450 injection combined with chemotherapy or anlotinib hydrochloride capsule in the perioperative treatment of resectable non-small cell lung cancer. The part I study was planned to enroll 58 subjects, 1:1 randomized into two cohorts. The treatment regimen was as follows: Cohort 1: 3-4 cycles of TQB2450 combined with chemotherapy, surgery should be performed 4-6 weeks after the last administration, and TQB2450 therapy should be continued for 1 year after surgery. Cohort 2: 4 cycles of TQB2450 combined with 3 cycles of anlotinib hydrochloride capsule. Surgery was performed 4-6 weeks after the last dose and continued for 1 year starting 4 weeks after surgery.

NCT ID: NCT05911308 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Abequolixron (RGX-104) and Durvalumab in Lung Cancer

Start date: April 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) is one of the deadliest types of cancer. In lung cancer patients with a tumor that can be removed by surgery, adjuvant chemotherapy increases survival. Neoadjuvant therapy may have advantages such as, it may be more tolerable prior to surgery, earlier treatment may be more efficacious, and it can provide an indication of treatment response. Neoadjuvant treatment can provide pre- and post-treatment specimens for correlative analysis to better understand mechanisms of action and resistance. This pilot study will investigate the effects of neoadjuvant durvalumab plus platinum doublet chemotherapy and neoadjuvant durvalumab plus platinum doublet chemotherapy in combination with abequolixron (RGX-104), an LXR/ApoE agonist, in subjects with NSCLC who are scheduled to undergo surgical resection as part of their standard of care. The purpose of this study is to study how well using a combination of durvalumab, platinum doublet chemotherapy (carboplatin/abraxane or carboplatin/pemetrexed), and abequolixron treats non-small cell lung cancer before surgery. Durvalumab (a type of immunotherapy) and platinum doublet chemotherapy are drugs that are individually approved for use during the treatment of cancer. FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has not approved the combined use of these drugs in treating non-small cell lung cancer. Abequolixron is not FDA approved for the treatment of cancer.
