NCT ID: NCT03189992 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Malignant Tumor of Small Intestine Metastatic to Liver

Study of TCM Syndrome of Hepatocellular Carcinoma and Colorectal Cancer Based on System Science

Start date: January 2014
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome is a core foundation of disease knowledge, clinical diagnosis and treatment and curative effect evaluation in TCM. "Same TCM Syndrome for Different Diseases" and "Same Treatment for Different Diseases" is one of the characteristics of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment. This study is the "TCM disease syndrome combination" research baced on principles and methods of system biology, which is through acquisition of primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and colorectal cancer patients with TCM syndrome information, detection of clinical indicators and genomic, proteomic, and metabolites changes, analyzing the correlation between TCM syndromes and biological information, and revealing its biological material characteristics and the molecular mechanisms of "Same TCM Syndrome for Different Diseases";Developing and implementing the program of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment for HCC and colorectal cancer to evaluate the efficacy of TCM syndrome based-treatment of HCC and colorectal cancer with TCM syndrom scores, clinical and systems biological indicators, quality of life and survival rate, and to revealing the mechanism of the "Same Treatment for Different Diseases".

NCT ID: NCT03186898 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Unrectable or Locally Recurrent Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Radiation Therapy With Protons or Photons in Treating Patients With Liver Cancer

Start date: June 22, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This phase III trial studies how well radiation therapy with protons works compared with photons in treating patients with liver cancer. Radiation therapy, such as photon therapy, uses high energy x-rays to send the radiation inside the body to the tumor while proton therapy uses a beam of proton particles. Proton therapy can stop shortly after penetrating through the tumor and may cause less damage to the surrounding healthy organs and result in better survival in patients with liver cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03184493 Recruiting - Liver Cancer Clinical Trials

Celebrex and Metformin for Postoperative Hepatocellular Carcinoma

XBD
Start date: June 2, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This prospective trial aims to compare the role of celebrex alone, metformin alone, and celebrex plus metformin in preventing HCC recurrence after hepatic resection.

NCT ID: NCT03175705 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Adoptive Transfer of Specific HCC Antigens CD8+ T Cells for Treating Patients With Relapsed/Advanced HCC

Start date: May 1, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study enrolls patients who have relapsed/advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC, BCLC stage C). The HCC tumor relapsed or metastasized through the body after standard treatment or the patients cannot receive standard treatment under current conditions. This research study uses specific HCC antigens CD8+ T cells, a new experimental treatment. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerance as well as the potential clinical efficacy of an adoptive transfer of CD8+ T cells, sorted with human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-peptide multimers and specific for Glypican (GPC)-3 /New York Esophageal Squamous-1 (NY-ESO-1) /alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) antigens and cultured in vitro, to patients suffering from relapsed/advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

NCT ID: NCT03175679 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Adoptive Transfer of iNKT Cells for Treating Patients With Relapsed/Advanced HCC

This research study uses special immune system cells called iNKT cells, a new experimental treatment. The purpose of this study is to find the biggest dose of iNKT cells that is safe and tolerance, to see how long they last in the body, to learn the immunoresponse in the body, to learn the side effects are and to see if the iNKT cells will help people with relapsed/advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

NCT ID: NCT03151213 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Cancer

Effect of Pregabalin on the Postoperative Analgesia in RFA of Focal Lesions in the Liver

pregabalin
Start date: May 1, 2017
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The study aimed to investigate the preemptive analgesia efficacy of of preemptive pregabalin for the postoperative pain management after radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of liver cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03138044 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Combined Ipsilateral Liver Lobe Devascularization and Alcohol Treatment of the Large Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Start date: May 20, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Assessment of the long-term outcome of combined ipsilateral liver lobe devascularization (ILAD) and alcohol injection of the large hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC): single center non-randomized trial.

NCT ID: NCT03132740 Recruiting - Hepatic Carcinoma Clinical Trials

Impact of Three-dimensional Visualization on Operation Strategy and Complications for Complex Hepatic Carcinoma

Start date: March 15, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of the multi-centre study is to evaluate correctly the impact of three dimensional visualization on operation strategy and complications for complex hepatic carcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT03130712 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Hepatocellular

A Study of GPC3-targeted T Cells by Intratumor Injection for Advanced HCC (GPC3-CART)

Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

In this study, CART cells are targeted to GPC3 by intratumor injected that we hope by this means could improve the local CAR-T cell numbers, meanwhile reduce the potential side effects.
