NCT ID: NCT05310539 Recruiting - Bone Neoplasm Clinical Trials

Early Recovery After "Wedge Resection" Surgery to Remove Lung Mestastasis Secondary to Bone Cancer.

Start date: January 8, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

After "wedge resection" surgery, the physiotherapy programs proposed in the literature are heterogeneous and there are few data on the outcomes of such treatments in an oncological population for bone cancer. The aim of the study is to describe the early rehabilitation process after wedge resection surgery secondary to bone tumor pulmonary mestasasis, highlightining the possible functional recovery in the short and medium term after surgery and indentifying the possible prognostic factors.

NCT ID: NCT04394052 Recruiting - Bone Neoplasm Clinical Trials

Novel Imaging Techniques for the Characterization of Musculoskeletal Tumors II

TUMOSTEO II
Start date: June 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims at evaluating the value of various artificial intelligence based techniques to improve the characterization and image post-processing for patients with musculoskeletal tumors.

NCT ID: NCT04307914 Recruiting - Pain Clinical Trials

Focused Ultrasound and RadioTHERapy for Noninvasive Palliative Pain Treatment in Patients With Bone Metastases

FURTHER
Start date: March 10, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The FURTHER study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of MR-HIFU (alone or in combination with EBRT) compared to EBRT alone, the standard-of-care, as a palliative treatment option to relieve CIBP. The FURTHER study consists of a multicenter, three-armed randomized controlled trial (FURTHER RCT) and a patient registry arm (FURTHER Registry), which will be performed in six hospitals in four European countries.

NCT ID: NCT03442465 Recruiting - Osteosarcoma Clinical Trials

Assessment of Healing and Function After Reconstruction Surgery for Bone Sarcomas

Start date: February 14, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to look at the amount of function that returns in participants that have reconstruction with bone graft or artificial device and in participants who have tumor surgery plus regenerative osseous surgery. The study will look at the level of function for a period of 3 years after the surgery. Another purpose of this study is to look at how well the bone heals in participants undergoing regenerative surgery

NCT ID: NCT03129672 Recruiting - Bone Neoplasm Clinical Trials

Distal Tibia Sarcoma Treatment Using Allograft Arthrodesis of the Ankle

Start date: May 20, 2014
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study show the clinical results of limb salvage for primary malignant bone tumor of the distal tibia using block excision of the tumor and reconstruction with allograft arthrodesis with different methods of fixation (plates or intramedullary nail system)
