Filter by:The present study investigates the reaction of the skin upon exposure to house dust mite (HDM) in patients with atopic dermatitis who have antibodies against HDM in the blood. A further aim is to assess nasal symptoms after exposure to HDM in an allergen challenge chamber and compare the results with data from previous studies.
This was a parallel treatment, Phase 2, double-blind, 2-arm, placebo-controlled study with 2 staggered cohorts (2 arms in each cohort) to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rilzabrutinib in adult participants (aged at least 18 years) with moderate-to-severe AD and intolerance or inadequate response to topical corticosteroids (TCS). The total study duration per participant was expected to be approximately 21 weeks, including up to 4 weeks of screening, 16 weeks of on-treatment double-blind period, 1 week of post-treatment follow-up.

This was a Ph2a study that consists of a double-blind, intra-patient placebo-controlled treatment period and an open-label uncontrolled treatment period with objective to evaluate the safety, tolerability, PK and preliminary efficacy of PRN473 in up to 40 patients with mild to moderate AD. On Day 1 (Baseline) of the Blinded Period, 2 target lesions with a difference no greater than 1 point in Total Sign Score (TSS) were randomly assigned to treatment in an intra-patient 1:1 manner, one lesion to PRN473 and the other to matching placebo. Participation took approximately 13 weeks, including up to a 5-week screening period, a 6-week treatment period, end of study assessments 1 day after last dose, and a safety follow-up phone call 2 weeks after last dose.

This Phase 1 study will investigate the safety and tolerability of EDP1867 in healthy volunteers, participants with atopic dermatitis, and, optionally, in participants with psoriasis and/or asthma.
This is a clinical study in adult participants with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD). The purpose of the study is to test a new medicine (LEO 138559) given by injection to see if it works to treat AD and what the side effects are when compared with a placebo injection with no medical ingredient. The study will last up to 36 weeks for each participant. The study will include a treatment period of 16 weeks, during which the participants will receive the injections, followed by a period of 16 weeks without treatment with the main purpose of continuing safety evaluations. The participants will regularly visit the clinic for tests and the study doctor will evaluate their AD. The participants will also be asked to answer questions about their AD symptoms and quality of life.
