Start date: January 2010
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This observational study will evaluate the clinical benefit of NeoRecormon (epoetin beta) in daily routine practice in cancer patients with anemia. Data will be collected from patients who are receiving chemotherapy for a solid tumor or hematological malignancy. Patients will be followed for 28 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT01166451 Completed - Clinical trials for Iron Deficiency Anemia

The Anemia Control Program: High or Low Iron Supplementation

Start date: September 1991
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this clinical trial was to determine if high-iron or low-iron formula, containing an average of 12.7 mg/L or 2.3 mg/L respectively, had differing effects on iron status in infancy and on development longitudinally.

NCT ID: NCT01165996 Completed - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Differentiation Therapy With Decitabine in Treating Patients With Myelodysplastic Syndrome

Start date: July 2010
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Decitabine may help myelodysplastic cells become more like normal stem cells. PURPOSE: This clinical trial studies differentiation therapy with decitabine in treating patients with myelodysplastic syndrome.

NCT ID: NCT01163942 Terminated - Aplastic Anaemia Clinical Trials

Randomized Study In Severe Aplastic Anemia Patients Receiving Atg, Cyclosporin A, With Or Without G-CSF (SAA-G-CSF)

SAA-G-CSF
Start date: March 2001
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of G-CSF on disease free survival and overall survival in aplastic anaemia patients who also receive ATG and Cyclosporin A.

NCT ID: NCT01156363 Completed - Anemia Clinical Trials

A Study of Monthly Subcutaneous or Intravenous Mircera in Dialysis Patients With Chronic Renal Anaemia

Start date: October 2010
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This open label, single arm study will assess the efficacy for long-term maintenance of haemoglobin levels and the safety and tolerability of methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta [Mircera] in dialysis patients with chronic renal anaemia. Patients on regular long-term haemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis will receive monthly subcutaneous or intravenous Mircera for 6 months. Target sample size is <200 patients.

Start date: May 17, 2010
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of roxadustat in participants with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) on maintenance hemodialysis (HD) therapy, previously treated with intravenous (IV) epoetin alfa.

NCT ID: NCT01146574 Completed - Anemia Clinical Trials

A Phase 2a Study To Evaluate The Pharmacokinetics, Safety, Efficacy, Tolerability, And Pharmacodynamics of Sotatercept (ACE-011) for the Correction of Anemia in Subjects With End-stage Renal Disease on Hemodialysis.

Start date: June 30, 2010
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is the first study in hemodialysis subjects with anemia to evaluate the pharmacokinetics, safety, efficacy, tolerability, and pharmacodynamics of sotatercept (ACE-011)

NCT ID: NCT01146210 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia

Identification of de Novo Fanconi Anemia in Younger Patients With Newly Diagnosed Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Start date: October 2009
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This research study is studying identification of de novo Fanconi anemia in younger patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia. Studying samples of tissue from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors identify and learn more about biomarkers related to Fanconi anemia in patients with acute myeloid leukemia.
