NCT ID: NCT04005638 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Immune Thrombocytopenia

Biological Bank for the Patients Followed in a Constitutive Reference Center for Autoimmune Cytopenia

BIOCAI
Start date: February 2, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The Internal Medicine Department of Haut-Lévêque Hospital (Pr E LAZARO, Pr JL PELLEGRIN, Pr JF VIALLARD) was accredited in 2017 by the Ministry of Health as a Constitutive Reference Center for Autoimmune Cytopenia. The investigators wish to launch new research projects in autoimmune cytopenia and propose a translational and fundamental research based on collaboration between the clinical department, the biological resource center and the CNRS and INSERM research units ("Bedside to the Bench Strategy"). Thus, in the perspective of future research work, it seems imperative to set up a biological bank for the patients followed in our Reference Center.

NCT ID: NCT03918265 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia

Tacrolimus Treatment for Refractory Autoimmune Cytopenia

Start date: May 4, 2019
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Autoimmune cytopenia, including autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA), pure red cell aplasia (PRCA), Evans syndrome (ES), usually has good responses to steroids therapies as first line, but there is a considerable percentage of patients who relapse, become refractory or dependent on steroids to maintain an acceptable level of hemoglobin or platelets. The effects of the second line therapy are also not satisfactory and sometimes not available. The investigators aim to explore the efficacy and side-effect of tacrolimus for refractory autoimmune cytopenia.

NCT ID: NCT02877706 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Immune Thrombocytopenia

French Registry of Adult Patients With Immune Thrombocytopenia and Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia

CARMEN
Start date: June 2013
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

CARMEN is a national, real-world clinical registry of all adult patients with incident diagnosis of Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) or Autoimmune Hemolytic anemia (AIHA) patients in France. It is aimed at describing ITP and AIHA clinical features, assessing the real-world risk-benefit ratio of treatments and adherence to guidelines for ITP and AIHA management.

NCT ID: NCT02828670 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia

Role of T Follicular Helper Cells in Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (TFH in AIHA)

TFH and AIHA
Start date: June 7, 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

T follicular helper (TFH) cells represent a T cell subset dedicated to the activation of B cells. They have been involved in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases in humans such as lupus and Sjögren disease. We recently showed that TFH are implicated in the activation of autoreactive B lymphocytes during ITP. Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) is an autoimmune disease due to antibodies targeting red blood cells. To date, the role of TFH in the pathogenesis of AIHA is not known. We hypothesize that AIHA is associated with an increase in the number and/or function of TFH, that could participate in the activation of autoreactive B lymphocytes.
