Pelvic Radiotherapy With Concurrent Neoadjuvant FOLFOX for Patients With Newly Diagnosed Rectal Adenocarcinoma

The purpose of this study is to assess the effects, both good and bad, of adding very low dose fractionated radiation therapy (LDFRT) to the pelvis, with FOLFOX chemotherapy prior to surgery. Standard pelvic radiation therapy given once a day (Monday through Friday) over approximately 5.5 weeks is not given in this study. You will receive 6 cycles of FOLFOX (each cycle is 2 weeks) and you will also get an LDFRT to your pelvis given twice a day on the first two days of each cycle.

A Phase 1 Study of AMG 211 in Participants With Advanced Gastrointestinal Cancer

The purpose of this Phase 1 study is to determine if AMG 211 given as a continous intravenous (IV) infusion is safe and tolerable in adult participants that have advanced gastrointestinal adenocarcinoma. The study will be conducted in multiple sites and test increasing doses of AMG 211. The safety of participants will be monitored by intensive assessment of vital signs, electrocardiograms, physical examinations, and laboratory tests. Efficacy will be assessed by the usual imaging procedures and their interpretation.

Selinexor may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

Aim: To study the antitumour effect of reduced intensity conditioning (RIC) with allogeneic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma after radical resection of the tumour and adjuvant treatment with standard chemotherapy. Importance: If investigators can accomplish an anti-tumour effect using RIC with HSCT as adjuvant treatment in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma, it might increase the survival or even cure patients in this group with very poor prognosis. Primary scientific question: Can investigators demonstrate an anti-tumour effect against pancreatic adenocarcinoma using adjuvant treatment with HSCT? Therapeutic Strategies in Patients With Non-squamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer With Brain Metastases

The patients carrying a complicated primary lung cancer brain metastases die in less than 3 months of delay disease in the absence of treatment. The median survival of these patients is approximately six months when the treatment associated with radiotherapy chemotherapy based on cisplatin is now the standard treatment. In most studies the patients die of their brain disease in one case only two, so it is likely that some patients do not require brain irradiation (prognosis in this case is linked to extra-cerebral disease ). The benefits for patients in group B (without systematic irradiation) are not to suffer the side effects of this radiation. The risks are in the same group to see brain metastases become symptomatic. The role of cerebral radiotherapy in the patients treated with chemotherapy is unclear: should all patients be irradiated systematically (since the "reference" treatment is involved and with the aim of obtaining better control of the brain lesions and maintaining a better neurological status) or should only the patients showing cerebral progression be irradiated (avoidance of possibly useless brain radiotherapy and its side effects). The aim of this study is to better determine the position of cerebral radiotherapy in this context. Main objective: determine whether there is a difference in terms of progression-free survival between a therapeutic strategy with initial systematic brain radiotherapy followed by chemotherapy cis-platine/alimta + / - Bevacizumab and strategy with an initial chemotherapy cis-platine/alimta + / - Bevacizumab associated with brain radiotherapy only in cases of cerebral progression in patients with NSCLC with asymptomatic brain metastases
