Filter by:This study will have two parts as follows: The PK Lead-in Phase of the study will evaluate the steady state pharmacokinetics (PK) and confirm the dose of sofosbuvir (SOF) in hepatitis C virus (HCV)-infected pediatric participants. The PK Lead-in Phase will also evaluate the safety and tolerability of 7 days of dosing of SOF+ribavirin (RBV) in HCV-infected pediatric participants. The Treatment Phase will be initiated by age cohort after confirmation of age-appropriate SOF dosage levels. Participants from the PK Lead-in Phase will immediately rollover into the Treatment Phase with no interruption of study drug administration. The Treatment Phase will evaluate the antiviral efficacy, safety, and tolerability of SOF+RBV for 12 or 24 weeks in pediatric participants with genotype 2 or 3 HCV infection, respectively.
This test is to be collected during the dengue outbreak samples, including samples back in the past and forward to close the case, investigating the prevalence of serum Chikungunya virus infection, and against those suspected dengue fever, Chikungunya disease-related tests conducted to clarify dengue and Chikungunya disease of clinical judgment, rapid method to detect Chikungunya virus and then develop.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of presatovir on respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) viral load in RSV-positive adults who have been hospitalized with acute respiratory infectious symptoms. Participants will receive 1 dose of presatovir on Day 1 and followed for 27 days postdose. Nasal swabs will be collected at each study visit (excluding Day 28) and assayed for change in viral load as the primary endpoint.
This study will examine the safety, tolerability, and antiviral efficacy of sofosbuvir (SOF)+ribavirin (RBV) in treatment-naive and treatment-experienced United States Veterans with compensated cirrhosis and genotype 2 HCV infection.
There are many challenges to implementation of cervical cancer prevention in resource-limited countries, despite evidence based screening and treatment strategies. The investigators hypothesize that self-collected HPV specimens offered in a community health campaign setting will
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the proportion of treatment-naive non-cirrhotic subjects with Genotype (GT)-1b treated with Daclatasvir (DCV)/Asunaprevir (ASV)/BMS-791325 who achieve Sustained Virologic response (SVR12), defined as Hepatitis C virus (HCV) RNA < LOQ target detected or target not detected (LOQ TD/TND) at follow-up Week 12, is significantly higher than SVR12 of current Standard of Care (SOC).
Primary objective To demonstrate that administration of V503 induces non-inferior Geometric Mean Titres (GMTs) for serum anti-HPV 6, 11, 16, and 18, compared to GARDASIL in 16- to 26-year-old men
In the present study, the investigators want to investigate whether prior BCG-vaccination improves the efficacy of influenza ("the flu") vaccination in young and/or old healthy volunteers and consequently could protect against influenza virus infection.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a treatment regimen of 12 weeks or 8 weeks of simeprevir in combination with sofosbuvir in chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1 infected men and women without cirrhosis who are HCV treatment-naïve or treatment-experienced.
The purpose of the study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of 12 weeks of simeprevir (150 mg qd) in combination with sofosbuvir (400 mg qd) in chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1 infected men and women with cirrhosis who are HCV treatment-naïve or treatment-experienced.
