Filter by:A Multi-Center, Open-label Phase Ib-II Trial of the Combination of GX-188E Vaccination and Pembrolizumab in Patients with Advanced, Non-Resectable HPV-Positive Cervical Cancer
This phase II trial studies how well deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) plasmid-encoding interleukin-12/human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA plasmids therapeutic vaccine INO-3112 and durvalumab work in treating patients with human papillomavirus associated cancers that have come back or spread to other places in the body. Vaccines made from a gene-modified virus may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving DNA plasmid-encoding interleukin-12/HPV DNA plasmids therapeutic vaccine INO-3112 and durvalumab may work better in treating patients with human papillomavirus associated cancers.
A Single arm, Multicenter, International Trial of Tisotumab Vedotin (HuMax®-TF-ADC) in Previously Treated, Recurrent or Metastatic Cervical Cancer.
HARE-40 is a phase I/II vaccine dose escalation study with two different arms: Arm 1A will perform intrapatient dose escalation in patients with previously treated HPV16+ Head & Neck Cancer using two dose cohorts to establish a safe, tolerable and recommended dose of HPV vaccine. Arm 1B will perform intrapatient dose escalation in patients with advanced HPV16+ cancer (head and neck, anogenital, penile, cervical and other) using a single cohort to establish a safe, tolerable and recommended dose of HPV vaccine.
The objective of the present study is to estimate the overall survival of patients with cervical cancer after the administration of monoclonal antibody (mAb) Nimotuzumab (hR3) in combination with chemotherapy of first intention. Patients will be randomized in two parallel treatment groups. The first group will receive a dose of 200 mg of monoclonal antibody anti-hR3 (weekly during 18 weeks), combined with a chemotherapy (6 cycles, every 21 days of Cisplatin 70mg/m2, Vinorelbine 60 mg/m2 (Per Os) at D1 and D8 and then 80mg / m2. The second group will receive a placebo in combination with the same chemotherapy regimen as the first group. At the end of the first intention chemotherapy treatment, a dose of maintenance of Nimotuzumab will be administered at the dose of 200mg every 14 days until progression. A second chemotherapy in the second intention is proposed, this one is based on Carboplatin ( CBP) in an AUC (area under curve) of 6, and Paclitaxel (Txl) in 175 mg / m2 / BSA (body surface area ) in drip of 3 hours, every 3 weeks, concomitant with the administration of hR3, every 14 days, until a limit of toxicity or an ECOG (Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group) status superior to 3, appears.
This study is a prospective observational study of human papillomavirus (HPV) testing using urine and self-collected vaginal samples for women who have atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance(ASCUS) or low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion(LSIL) on Pap test. Among women who are diagnosed with ASCUS and LSIL, HPV test is performed by collecting urine and self-collected vaginal sample in standardized condition before colposcopy, and evaluation will be performed as a primary screening test with cytology triage.
This study expands on protocol (NCT01908504"PET adaptive RT") designed to evaluate the utility of adaptive PET-CT planning for radiation therapy (RT). Radiation therapy is used in many malignant diseases as a curative treatment modality. However, critical normal tissue is often in close approximation to disease, and portions of such tissue must receive high doses of radiation for appropriate treatment. Positron Emission Tomography (PET) adapted radiation therapy, as defined in the current protocol, may allow for a means of determining the eventual response to therapy, at a time point when adaptation of treatment plan may be possible to improve outcomes. This protocol will build upon the findings the previous protocol (NCT01908504 "PET adaptive RT") that evaluated the utility of intra-treatment PET imaging in multiple types of cancers. The current focus will be more specific to certain types of gastrointestinal and gynecologic cancers treated with RT, identified from the prior study to warrant further research.
SENTICOL III is large prospective multicenter international randomized study designed to validate the Sentinel Lymph Node (SLN) mapping technique in early cervical cancer. This "validation study" will compare the outcome of patients with negative SLN (experimental arm) vs patients with negative SLN + Pelvic Lymph Node dissection (PLN)(reference arm). There will be a "quality assurance" program which will be developed in participating centers with detailed requirements in terms of surgeons' qualifications, pathology qualification, SLN ultrastaging, standardization of the procedure, etc. as well as respect of the "safety algorithm".
This is an open-label, multicenter, basket trial Phase II study to evaluate the antitumor activity of simlukafusp alfa in combination with atezolizumab in participants with advanced and/or metastatic solid tumors. Currently the focus is on participants with Head and Neck, oesophageal and cervical cancers with confirmed squamous cell carcinoma histology type.
The study goals are, 1. To determine the test characteristics (sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, false positivity rates, false negativity rates) of health personnel collected and self collected HPV samples for Hybrid capture explained by two different methods (pamphlets/ health education programme). 2. To evaluate the agreement between self collected HPV samples and health personnel collected HPV samples for Hybrid capture with two different methods of education (pamphlets/ health education programme). 3. To study the attitudes, acceptability and barriers of self-collection of specimens for HPV DNA testing in three sub groups of population in Maharashtra with two different methods of education (pamphlets/ health education programme). 4. To determine the predictors of self-sampling preference. 5. To determine the Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices (KAP) regarding cervical cancer and HPV infection among these women in pre-intervention and post-intervention period.
