Filter by:This perspective, mono institutional study is addressed to find potential serum and urine biomarkers predictive of the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profile of soft tissue sarcomas patients treated with trabectedin.
This is a single-institution pilot feasibility trial in which 10 subjects will be enrolled. The primary objectives are is to explore the feasibility of delivering radiotherapy for malignant skin and superficial soft tissue tumors using DaRT (Alpha Tau Medical, Tel Aviv, Israel), a form of interstitial brachytherapy which uses a novel radioisotope delivery system, as well as to determine the frequency and severity of acute adverse events. Secondary objectives will include assessments of radiotherapy-related adverse events, tumor response, radiation safety, stability of device placement, and associations with quality of life.
This study intends to determine if any correlation exists between administration of TXA or not to musculoskeletal oncology patients undergoing endoprosthetic reconstruction and blood loss and blood transfusion rates.
The aim of this study is to identify demographic & disease characteristics in pediatric oncology patients diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma Family of Tumors (ESFT) & treatment outcomes in these patients.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of a multimodal prehabilitation intervention intended to optimize postoperative recovery in adolescents and young adults (AYAs) diagnosed with soft tissue and bone-based sarcomas of the upper and lower extremities (extremity sarcomas; ES).
This trial studies how well progressive resistance training works in improving the physical function of sarcoma survivors. Treatments for sarcoma can cause side effects such as fatigue, muscle loss, and weakness, which can negatively impact a patient's ability to physically function and enjoy an independent lifestyle. Engaging in a resistance training exercise routine may improve physical function, body composition, and bone density of sarcoma survivors.
Early recognition of adrenal function deficit in patients undergoing multivisceral surgery including adrenalectomy for primitive retroperitoneal sarcomas
Soft tissue sarcoma STS is a group of malignant tumors derived from connective tissue other than bone and cartilage. It can occur in any part of the body at any age, and there is no significant gender difference.According to pathological classification, STS has 19 tissue types and more than 50 disease subtypes.Currently, surgical resection, radiotherapy and drug therapy are the main treatment methods. But about 50% of the patients with distant metastasis happened not the surgical removal of, quite a number of in patients with distant metastasis after died of disease progression 8-12 months in drug treatment of soft tissue sarcoma, the current widely used chemotherapy regimens for ADM/IFO single-agent or joint IFO ADM is a line of chemotherapy, in addition, paclitaxel, gemcitabine, dorsey race, it was also used for soft tissue sarcomas of second-line chemotherapy scheme, however, for some special subtypes of sarcoma,Such as myxoid liposarcoma, pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, glandular soft tissue sarcoma and superficial malignant fibrous histiocytoma, are not sensitive to chemotherapy or low sensitivity. Therefore, how to improve the survival rate of these patients is an urgent problem to be solved. Anlootinib hydrochloride is a multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor that has shown good efficacy in solid tumors such as NSCLC, ovarian cancer, soft tissue tumors, and medullary thyroid cancer.Especially in the field of soft tissue sarcomas, the results of phase IIb clinical data were satisfactory. Therefore, Investigator plan to conduct the study of anrotenil hydrochloride capsule for the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas with first-line chemotherapy failure (anthracycline)
This research study is designed to study the combination of two drugs, palbociclib and ganitumab, as a potential treatment for Ewing sarcoma. The names of the study drugs involved in this study are: - Palbociclib - Ganitumab
The purpose of this Phase 2 study is to 1. find out if the study drugs (ipilimumab plus nivolumab) in combination with cryotherapy will help participants with metastatic or locally advanced soft tissue sarcoma;. 2. find out how safe are ipilimumab plus nivolumab given in combination with cryotherapy, and what side effects may be related to treatment. 3. find out how do the study drugs in combination with cryotherapy work in soft tissue sarcoma.
