NCT ID: NCT05408845 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Recurrent Salivary Gland Carcinoma

Testing the Use of Ado-Trastuzumab Emtansine Compared to the Usual Treatment (Chemotherapy With Docetaxel Plus Trastuzumab) for Recurrent, Metastatic, or Unresectable HER2-Positive Salivary Gland Cancer

Start date: September 30, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial tests whether ado-trastuzumab emtansine works to shrink tumors in patients with HER2-positive salivary gland cancer that has come back (recurrent), spread to other places in the body (metastatic), or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Trastuzumab emtansine is a monoclonal antibody, called trastuzumab, linked to a chemotherapy drug called emtansine. Trastuzumab attaches to HER2 positive cancer cells in a targeted way and delivers emtansine to kill them. Trastuzumab emtansine may work better compared to usual treatment of chemotherapy with docetaxel and trastuzumab in treating patients with salivary gland cancer.

NCT ID: NCT05087706 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Salivary Gland Neoplasms

Exploratory Study of Molecular Profile-Associated Evidence Guided Precision Therapy for Salivary Gland Cancer(MAPS)

MAPS
Start date: July 30, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

To explore the feasibility, efficacy and safety of determining the treatment regimen based on genomic profiling in patients with locally advanced and advanced salivary gland cancer.

NCT ID: NCT05074940 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Salivary Gland Cancer

Amivantamab in Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma

Start date: August 5, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to determine if treatment with amivantamab will be efficacious in patients with recurrent and metastatic adenoid cystic carcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT05013515 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Salivary Gland Carcinomas

Efficacy and Safety of Neoadjuvant Surufatinib for Patients With Salivary Gland Carcinomas

Start date: August 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective is to investigate the efficacy and safety of Surufatinib Neoadjuvant Therapy for Locally Advanced Primary Saliary Gland Adenocarcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT05000892 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Salivary Gland Tumors

Neoadjuvant Sintilimab in Combination With Carboplatin and Nab-paclitaxel in Untreated Salivary Gland Malignant Neoplasms

Start date: December 10, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This proposed study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of preoperative administration Sintilimab combined with nab-paclitaxel and carboplatin in salivary gland malignant neoplasms who are about to undergo surgery. Monoclonal antibodies, such as Sintilimab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin and nab-paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. This trial will be helpful for comprehensive exploratory characterization of tumor immune microenvironment and circulating immune cells in these patients.

NCT ID: NCT04895735 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Recurrent Salivary Gland Carcinoma

Pemetrexed and Pembrolizumab for the Treatment of Recurrent and/or Metastatic Salivary Gland Cancer

Start date: July 23, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies the effect of pemetrexed and pembrolizumab in treating patients with salivary gland cancer that has come back (recurrent) and/or has spread to other places in the body (metastatic). Chemotherapy drugs, such as pemetrexed, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether pembrolizumab, an immunotherapy drug, in combination with the chemotherapy drug, pemetrexed, has an effect on advanced salivary gland cancer.

NCT ID: NCT04704661 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Advanced Malignant Solid Neoplasm

Testing the Combination of Two Anti-cancer Drugs, DS-8201a and AZD6738, for The Treatment of Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors Expressing the HER2 Protein or Gene, The DASH Trial

Start date: August 9, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The dose escalation phase of this trial identifies the best dose and safety of ceralasertib (AZD6738) when given in combination with trastuzumab deruxtecan (DS-8201a) in treating patients with solid tumors that have a change (mutation) in the HER2 gene or protein and have spread to other places in the body (advanced). The dose expansion phase (phase Ib) of this trial compares how colorectal and gastroesophageal cancers with HER2 mutation respond to treatment with a combination of ceralasertib and trastuzumab deruxtecan versus trastuzumab deruxtecan alone. Trastuzumab deruxtecan is a monoclonal antibody, called trastuzumab, linked to a chemotherapy drug, called deruxtecan. Trastuzumab attaches to HER2 positive cancer cells in a targeted way and delivers deruxtecan to kill them. Ceralasertib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

NCT ID: NCT04620187 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Salivary Gland Cancer

Post-op T-DM1 in HER-2+ Salivary Gland Carcinomas

Start date: December 24, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This research is being done to see how safe and effective the use of the study drug Ado-trastuzumab (T) emtansine (DM1), T-DM1, and standard of care chemoradiation are when used together in treating HER2-positive salivary gland cancer. It will also examine the effectiveness of study drug Ado-trastuzumab (T) emtansine (DM1) on cancer recurrence.
