Filter by:The purpose of this study is to assess whether or not adalimumab (Humira®) can influence pain medication in participants with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and ankylosing spondylitis (AS) with or without comorbidities, which do not constitute a contraindication for adalimumab as stated in the released summary of product characteristics. Therefore it shall be evaluated if pain medication which is used in these participants is changed, reduced or stopped due to adalimumab treatment.
This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of MabThera (rituximab) in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis who are receiving methotrexate, and who have a previous or current inadequate response to one prior anti-TNF therapy. All patients will receive MabThera 1000 mg as an intravenous infusion on days 1 and 15. After the initial study phase of 24 weeks, eligible patients may receive one re-treatment with MabThera. The anticipated time on study treatment is 48 weeks.
The objective is to prove the equivalence in efficacy and safety of HD203 and Enbrel® in combination with Methotrexate in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether anti-inflammatory treatment with adalimumab (Humira) reduces endothelial activation in blood vessels in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis. Markers of endothelial activation are assessed in muscle tissue before treatment and after 3 months, and related to other biomarkers and clinical outcomes.
In Japan, as well as in other countries, the dose of adalimumab (ADA) is limited to 40 mg every other week when used in combination with methotrexate (MTX) for patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). However, ADA 80 mg with MTX may be required for some RA patients, especially for those with high disease activity. Therefore, we tried to increase the ADA dose to 80 mg every other week with concomitant MTX, only if the disease activity did not decrease below moderate activity defined by DAS28 < 3.2. The primary endpoint was the rate of patients who achieved disease remission (DAS28 < 2.6) at 30 weeks with this predifined treatment strategy.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the improvements in signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) for fostamatinib compared to placebo or adalimumab in patients who are Disease-Modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) naïve, DMARD intolerant or have had an inadequate response to DMARDs. The study will last for approximately six months
To evaluate the efficacy of Diacerein 100 mg daily versus placebo in reducing rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, when added to stable oral MTX therapy in patients with active early RA. To evaluate the safety of Diacerein 100 mg daily when administrated in combination with oral MTX therapy in those patients for up to 24 weeks To investigate a potential persistent effect, 4 weeks after Diacerein treatment is stopped (carry-over effect)
The purpose of study is to explore the effect of CP-690,550 (tasocitinib) on cholesterol metabolism in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
The primary objective of the study is to assess the safety and efficacy of 2 dose groups (PDA001 versus vehicle control) in subjects with active rheumatoid Arthritis. The secondary objectives of the study are to determine the clinical response at defined visit intervals, determine the time to flare of RA symptoms and to quantify changes in inflammatory markers including C-reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), serum amyloid A (SAA), and IL-6.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate 1 year extension study of the efficacy and the safety during treatment tocilizumab in patients completing treatment CWP-TCZ301 study with moderate to severe active RA and an inadequate response to current DMARD.
