Filter by:Immunoscore has been reported to be superior to microsatellite instability staging in predicting the disease-specific recurrence and survival for patients with colorectal cancer. However, the relationship between Immunoscore and its impact on patient's response to PD-1 blockade remains to be elucidated. This phase II, prospective, open label study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of combination neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT) with the anti-PD-1 antibody sintilimab for intermediate/high Immunoscore locally advanced rectal cancer.
The aims are to identify the trajectory of LAR Syndrome and explore the adaptation process and coping strategies of LAR Syndrome in patients newly diagnosed with rectal cancer. The participants will recruit from a CRC surgical outpatient department of a medical center in northern Taiwan.
1. To establish the Chinese people's own clinical data database of colorectal cancer, reflecting the law and characteristics of colorectal cancer patients in China. 2. Based on colorectal cancer surgery, collect clinical data, especially data on clinical manifestations, complications, laboratory tests, auxiliary examinations, postoperative clinical effects, surgical complications, and colorectal cancer recurrence, so as to lead the direction of clinical practice and academic research of colorectal cancer surgery in China. It provides a certain basis for future research on colorectal cancer. 3. Provide academic consultation and data support to national health authorities.
The research objectives is to compare vitro 3D drug sensitivity test results of micro tumor (PTC) with the clinical outcomes of patients, evaluate the consistency between the test results of the technology platform and the clinical prognosis, and explore the decision-making value and guiding significance of this technology in assisting the precise treatment of colorectal cancer. The completion of this study will provide real-world data support for the clinical application of micro tumor (PTC) in vitro 3D drug sensitivity detection technology, and provide more valuable reference basis for realizing the individualization and accuracy of colorectal cancer treatment and improving the clinical benefit rate.
Investigators would like to test the effects of spinal anesthesia as an adjunct to general anesthesia in patients undergoing laparoscopic abdominoperineal rectal amputation. Investigators hypothesize that spinal anesthesia as an adjunct to general anesthesia will reduce postoperative pain and opioid requirements.
This is a retrospective analysis of all patients diagnosed with LARC who received NCRT and had MRI scans between 2003-2014 at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. Region of interest was drawn around the tumor or its location on T2 MRI images. Six texture parameters were systematically extracted from Textural histograms of post-treatment scans. These parameters were examined to determine their ability to predict local recurrence and distant metastases through Kaplan-Meier survival curves and log-rank tests.
The SoFiT study is a randomized controlled trial examining the effects of a behaviour change guided lifestyle intervention on increasing adherence to the World Cancer Research Fund cancer prevention guidelines, compared to the wait-list usual care group, on diminishing cancer-related fatigue in colorectal cancer survivors.
The fistula-associated anal adenocarcinoma is rare in patients suffering from anal fistulas. There is only little data available for this patient collective making characterization and management of this disease difficult. Late diagnosis and advanced tumor stage at diagnosis result in poor clinical outcome. It is the purpose of this study to evaluate patients clinically diagnosed with a FAAC and to further perform a histopathological characterization of the available tumor specimen.
This study proposeto integrate a variety of imaging quantitative indicators to establish a new MRI-based tumor response regression(mrTRG) classification method. The accuracy of the established mrTRG classification method according pathology TRG(pTRG) will be tested. The ability of the established mrTRG classification method to predict prognosis will also be tested.
The purpose of this study is to use the SignateraTm assay created from rectal tumor biopsies to monitor participants' blood for fragments of DNA shed by tumor cells. The tumor DNA fragments are referred to as circulating tumor DNA, or ctDNA for short.
