Inclusion Criteria: - children with Primary teeth - Before the eruption of permanent molar - First dental visit - Both genders Exclusion Criteria: - Children with systemic diseases or congenital problems - Parents refuse to participate |

Each parent or caregiver will be asked to fill a questionnaire which includes multiple behavior and actions exhibited by the parents and they will do rating for each item how often they exhibit this behavior and accordingly will determine which parenting style they belong to. There are five scales or ratings : Never Once in a While About Half the Time Very Often Always |

Secondary | Behavior of children | Behavior of children will be videotaped and monitored according to Frankl scale. Frankl scale is a way to assess the child's behavior during his dental visits.There are four scales either definitely negative, or negative, or positive, or definitely positive. -/- Definitely Negative. Refusal of treatment, forceful crying, fearfulness, or any other evidence of extreme negatism. - Negative. Reluctance to accept treatment, uncooperative, some evidence of negative attitude but not pronounced (sullen, withdrawn). + Positive. Acceptance of treatment; cautious behavior at times; willingness to comply with the dentist, at times with reservation, but patient follows the dentist's directions cooperatively +/+ Definitely positive. Good rapport with the dentist, interest in the dental procedures, laughter and enjoyment. |
