Filter by:This study aims to assess efficacy of Niraparib (GSK3985771) as maintenance treatment in participants with Stage III or IV ovarian cancer. Participants must have completed front-line platinum based regimen with complete response (CR) or partial response (PR). Data collection for Secondary Outcome measures is ongoing and the approximate duration of the study will be 7 years.
This phase I/IIa trial studies the side effects and best dose of gene-modified T cells when given with or without decitabine, and to see how well they work in treating patients with malignancies expressing cancer-testis antigens 1 (NY-ESO-1) gene that have spread to other places in the body (advanced). A T cell is a type of immune cell that can recognize and kill abnormal cells of the body. Placing a modified gene for NY-ESO-1 into the patients' T cells in the laboratory and then giving them back to the patient may help the body build an immune response to kill tumor cells that express NY-ESO-1. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as decitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known whether giving gene-modified T cells with or without decitabine works better in treating patients with malignancies expressing NY-ESO-1.
This pilot trial studies how well nanoparticle albumin-bound rapamycin works in treating patients with cancer that as has spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment (advanced cancer) and that has an abnormality in a protein called mechanistic target of rapamycin (mTOR). Patients with this mutation are identified by genetic testing. Patients then receive nanoparticle albumin-bound rapamycin, which may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking the mTOR enzyme, which is needed for cell growth and multiplication. Using treatments that target a patient's specific mutation may be a more effective treatment than the standard of care treatment.
This is a multicenter, multinational, randomized, double-blind, 2-arm, parallel-group, Phase 2/3 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of PCC plus bevacizumab and CA4P versus PCC plus bevacizumab and placebo in subjects with platinum-resistant ovarian cancers (prOC). Subjects with platinum-resistant, recurrent, epithelial ovarian, primary peritoneal or fallopian tube cancer will be randomized 1:1 to receive PCC plus bevacizumab and CA4P or PCC plus bevacizumab and placebo. Subjects will be stratified by selected chemotherapy (PLD vs. paclitaxel), platinum free interval (< 3 vs. 3 to 6 months from last platinum therapy to subsequent progression), and line of therapy (2nd vs. 3rd). This is a 2-part study, consisting of a Phase 2, exploratory study (Part 1) followed by a Phase 3, pivotal study (Part 2). Both parts of the study will have similar overall design. Approximately 80 subjects will be randomized into Part 1 and approximately 356 subjects will be randomized into Part 2.
To clarify the critical role of glycosyltransferases, altered Mucins, and RTKs in human ovarian and endometrial neoplasms, the study will examine the immunohistochemical expression profiles of glycosyltransferases, Mucins and receptor tyrosin kinases (RTKs) family in various stages and/or histologic subtypes of human ovarian and endometrial neoplasms and tissue microarrays.
This is a Phase 3, open label, randomized study designed to compare the safety and efficacy of mirvetuximab soravtansine to that of selected single-agent chemotherapy (Investigator's choice) in women with platinum-resistant FR-alpha positive advanced EOC, primary peritoneal cancer and/or fallopian tube cancer.
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of gemcitabine hydrochloride and berzosertib when given together with carboplatin in treating patients with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer that has come back (recurrent) and has spread to other places in the body (metastatic). Chemotherapy drugs, such as carboplatin and gemcitabine hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Berzosertib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving berzosertib with chemotherapy (carboplatin and gemcitabine hydrochloride) may work better in treating patients with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer compared to chemotherapy alone.
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of talazoparib and heat shock protein (HSP)90 inhibitor AT13387 when given together in treating patients with solid tumors that have spread to other places in the body (metastatic) or ovarian, fallopian tube, primary peritoneal, or hormone negative breast cancer that have come back after a period of improvement (recurrent). Talazoparib and HSp90 inhibitor AT13387 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some enzymes that are need for cell growth. HSp90 inhibitor AT1338 may also help talazoparib work better by making tumor cells more sensitive to the drug.
This Phase Ib study will identify the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) of AZD1775 monotherapy when administered orally once daily (QD) or two times per day (BID) on Days 1 to 5 followed by 9 days of rest in 14-day cycles, or QD on a 5/2 dosing schedule (5 days on, followed by 2 days rest) in 21-day cycles in patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumours. Alternative treatment schedules may be explored if preliminary data suggest these would be more appropriate. The effect of food on single dose PK of AZD1775 will be assessed in 12 patients. In this sub-study, patients will receive a single oral dose of AZD1775 with 240 mL of water, once in the fasted state and once following a high-fat meal.
