Filter by:The purpose of this study is to study the effectiveness of the combination of drugs called nivolumab and high dose interleukin-2 (HD IL-2) as a treatment for metastatic (the cancer has spread) melanoma or renal cell carcinoma. HD IL-2 is a drug that was designed to help white blood cells regulate their immune response. HD IL-2 is given intravenously (IV, through a needle into a vein). IL-2 is approved by the FDA for the treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma and metastatic melanoma. Nivolumab is a type of drug called a checkpoint inhibitor that was designed to block a protein, allowing the body's immune system to recognize and fight cancer cells. Nivolumab is also given intravenously. Nivolumab is approved by the FDA for the treatment of several cancer types.
The objective of this study is to assess whether FDG (18F-2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose fluorodeoxyglucose) PET-CT could be an early predictive method of therapeutic response to anti-PD-1 immunotherapy in metastatic melanoma after 2 cycles of ANTI-PD1. 20 patients will be enrolled and undergo three PET/CT scans: a baseline PET-CT, an early research PET-CT after 2 cycles of anti-PD1 (PET1) and a PET-CT at 3 months of initiation of treatment. Treatment response on FDG PET-CT will be assessed according to PERCIST criteria.
This is a Phase 1, open-label, first-in-human study of CTX-471 administered as a monotherapy or in combination with pembrolizumab in patients with metastatic or locally advanced malignancies that have progressed while receiving an approved PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitor. The study will be conducted in 2 treatment arms (Monotherapy Arm 1 and Combination Arm 2). Each arm will have two parts: Part 1 Dose Escalation and Part 2 Dose Expansion.
The aim is to conduct a single centre retrospective study of all patients with stage IV melanoma that underwent surgery for metastases at Sahlgrenska University Hospital between 2010-01-01 and 2018-12-31. Pre- and postoperative data will be collected from digital medical records, the Swedish Cancer Registry, the Swedish Cause of Death Register as well as from the national Swedish cancer patient database (INCA). If needed, patient records will be collected from other hospitals. Results will be presented in written format as a summary and analysis of the characteristics of the cases operated on during the inclusion period. The aim is to identify predictive and prognostic factors for outcome and complications in the surgical treatment of stage IV metastatic melanoma.
This is a multicenter Phase 1b, open-label study to evaluate the pharmacokinetic, safety and efficacy of binimetinib and encorafenib co-administered to adolescent patients with BRAF V600-mutant advanced/metastatic melanoma. The study consists of a Safety Run-in Phase to determine the RDE (recommended dose in expansion), followed by an Expansion Phase.
This is an open-label, multicenter, Phase Ib study to evaluate the safety and therapeutic activity of RO6874281 in combination with pembrolizumab. The study will consist of 3 parts: a safety run-in (Part I: Cohorts 1.1. and 1.2) and two expansion parts (Parts II and III). Part II will start once all participants in Cohort 1.1 have completed the observation period. Part III will start once all participants in Cohorts 1.1 and 1.2 have completed the observation period.
This phase II trial studies the side effects and how well low dose ipilimumab works in combination with pembrolizumab in treating patients with melanoma that has spread to the brain. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab and pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.
The main purpose of this study is to establish the safety and the recommended dose of TRK-950 in combination with FOLFIRI, Gemcitabine / Cisplatin, Gemcitabine / Carboplatin, Ramucirumab / Paclitaxel, PD1 inhibitors (Nivolumab or Pembrolizumab), and Imiquimod Cream, Bevacizumab, Gemcitabine / Carboplatin / Bevacizumab, Pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD), Carboplatin / PLD / Bevacizumab and Paclitaxel for selected advanced solid tumors.
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of a modified virus called VSV-IFNbetaTYRP1 in treating patients with stage III-IV melanoma. The vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) has been altered to include two extra genes: human interferon beta (hIFNbeta), which may protect normal healthy cells from becoming infected with the virus, and TYRP1, which is expressed mainly in melanocytes (specialized skin cell that produces the protective skin-darkening pigment melanin) and melanoma tumor cells, and may trigger a strong immune response to kill the melanoma tumor cells.
This is an open-label, 3-arm, fixed-sequence study to evaluate the effect of single and multiple oral doses of encorafenib in combination with binimetinib on the single oral dose pharmacokinetics (PK) of cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzyme probe substrates using a probe cocktail, on an organic anion-transporting polypeptide/breast cancer resistance protein (OATP/BCRP) substrate using rosuvastatin and on a CYP2B6 substrate using bupropion. The effect of multiple oral doses of the moderate cytochrome P450 (CYP) inhibitor modafinil on encorafenib in combination with binimetinib will also be assessed. The study will have 2 treatment phases, a drug-drug interaction (DDI) phase followed by a post-DDI phase.
