Purpose of the study : To evaluate the antitumoral effect of two therapeutic procedures and to evaluate their respective toxicity on the CNS.
Researchers hope to learn if adding rituximab with high doses of chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation will help patients get rid of their lymphoma cells from the bone marrow and stem cell collections.
RATIONALE: Biological therapies, such as lenalidomide, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Giving lenalidomide together with rituximab may kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving lenalidomide together with rituximab works in treating patients with follicular or small lymphocytic non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has relapsed or not responded to treatment.
This phase II trial is studying how well combination chemotherapy with or without radiation therapy works in treating young patients with favorable-risk Hodgkin lymphoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as doxorubicin hydrochloride, vinblastine, mechlorethamine hydrochloride, vincristine sulfate, bleomycin, etoposide, and prednisone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more cancer cells. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill cancer cells for those patients that still had residual cancer at the end of chemotherapy. Giving combination chemotherapy with radiation therapy may kill more cancer cells and allow doctors to save the part of the body where the cancer started.

Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab and bevacizumab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. It is not yet known whether giving pentostatin and cyclophosphamide together with rituximab is more effective with or without bevacizumab in treating patients with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma. PURPOSE: This randomized phase II trial is studying the side effects of giving pentostatin and cyclophosphamide together with rituximab with or without bevacizumab and to see how well it works in treating patients with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma.
RATIONALE: ABT-888 may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving ABT-888 together with cyclophosphamide may kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of ABT-888 when given together with cyclophosphamide in treating patients with solid tumors or lymphoma that did not respond to previous therapy.
The purpose of this multicenter clinical trial is to assess the clinical impact of dose intensification performed very early during treatment in a subset of poor prognosis, advanced-stage Hodgkin Lymphoma patients, defined as PET-positive after two courses of conventional adriamycin (doxorubicin), bleomycin, vinblastine and dacarbazine (ABVD) chemotherapy.
The purpose of this study is to define an improvement and theassessment of the Time to Treatment Failure in patients randomized in three different arms: R−CVP vs R−CHOP vs R−FM.
This is a European multicenter study of 90Yttrium-Ibritumomab Tiuxetan (90Y-Ibritumomab Tiuxetan) (Zevalin®) as a front line therapy for patients with follicular lymphoma grade I-IIIa and stage III-IV (as well as for selected patients with extended abdominal stage II). For patients with complete clinical remission but persistent molecular disease subsequent to 90Y-Ibritumomab Tiuxetan treatment a consolidation immunotherapy with Rituximab is added, to eradicate minimal residual disease.
