NCT ID: NCT03025256 Active, not recruiting - Metastatic Melanoma Clinical Trials

Intravenous and Intrathecal Nivolumab in Treating Patients With Leptomeningeal Disease

Start date: May 2, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I/Ib trial studies the side effects and best dose of intrathecal nivolumab, and how well it works in combination with intravenous nivolumab in treating patients with leptomeningeal disease. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.

Start date: February 13, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open label, multi-institutional, single arm study with a dose escalation phase Ib cohort, followed by a phase II cohort of pembrolizumab and Imprime PGG. No randomization or blinding is involved.

NCT ID: NCT02998528 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

A Neoadjuvant Study of Nivolumab Plus Ipilimumab or Nivolumab Plus Chemotherapy Versus Chemotherapy Alone in Early Stage Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)

CheckMate 816
Start date: March 4, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this neoadjuvant study is to compare nivolumab plus chemotherapy and chemotherapy alone in terms of safety and effectiveness, and to describe nivolumab plus ipilimumab's safety and effectiveness in treating resectable NSCLC. This study has multiple primary endpoints.

NCT ID: NCT02996214 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Squamous Non-small-cell Lung Cancer

Paclitaxel Liposome for Squamous Non-Small-cell Lung Cancer Study(LIPUSU)

LIPUSU
Start date: November 2016
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy and the safety of paclitaxel liposome and cisplatin compared with gemcitabine and cisplatin as first-line therapy in advanced squamous non-small-cell lung cancer .

NCT ID: NCT02991924 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

Risk Factors of Medistinal Metastasis in Endoscopic Staging of Lung Cancer

Start date: July 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The purpose of this study is to investigate risk factors for mediastinal lymph node metastasis in potentially operable non-small cell lung cancer in order to find indications for endoscopic mediastinal staging. Chest CT, integrated PET/CT, and endobronchial ultrasound guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) +/- endoscopic ultrasound with bronchoscope-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-B-FNA) are performed for mediastinal staging. CT and PET/CT findings, histologic types and other risk factors will be analyzed. The investigators develop the prediction method for mediastinal metastasis.

NCT ID: NCT02991677 Active, not recruiting - Cancer, Breast Clinical Trials

Exercise Effect on Chemotherapy-Induced Neuropathic Pain

Start date: March 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) continues to be a serious healthcare concern. It is painful, persistent, resistant to conventional pain therapies, and results in long-term suffering and decreased quality of life for many cancer survivors. The role of exercise to decrease CIPN-related neuropathic pain (CIPN-NP) will be investigated, with the goal of identifying the mechanisms associated with this therapeutic approach to manage CIPN-NP.

NCT ID: NCT02983578 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Stage IV Lung Cancer AJCC v8

Danvatirsen and Durvalumab in Treating Patients With Advanced and Refractory Pancreatic, Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, and Mismatch Repair Deficient Colorectal Cancer

Start date: March 2, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well danvatirsen and durvalumab work in treating patients with pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and mismatch repair deficient colorectal cancer that has spread to other places in the body and does not respond to treatment. Danvatirsen may be used to block the production of proteins needed for tumor cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving danvatirsen and durvalumab may work better at treating pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and mismatch repair deficient colorectal cancer.

NCT ID: NCT02981108 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Nonsmall Cell Lung Cancer

A Study to Evaluate Safety, PK and Efficacy of HS-10296 in Patients With NSCLC

Start date: May 8, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 1/2, open-label, multicenter study of HS-10296 with dose escalation, dose expansion and extension cohorts in locally advanced or metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients who have progressed following prior therapy with an epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) agent. The study is designed to evaluate safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and anti-tumor activity of once-daily and orally (PO) administered HS-10296. The overall study design is shown in the flow chart below, which consists of 3 phases: dose escalation, dose expansion and extension cohort.

NCT ID: NCT02978404 Active, not recruiting - Melanoma Clinical Trials

Combining Radiosurgery and Nivolumab in the Treatment of Brain Metastases

Start date: June 2, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) is increasingly administered as the sole treatment of brain metastases, in order to spare acute and long term side effects associated with whole brain radiotherapy. Local control of SRS treated lesions is good, but patients tend to develop additional brain metastases subsequently. Nivolumab is a modulator of the immune system. Treatment with Nivolumab is associated with an increase in local control and survival in patients with non-small cell lung cancer and clear cell renal cell carcinoma. In the presence of Nivolumab, treatment of brain metastases with SRS may trigger an immune reaction against cancer. Therefore, the combination of SRS with Nivolumab may reduce the development of new brain metastases and improve patient survival. The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of combining Nivolumab and SRS in controlling cancer progression. SRS will be administered to patients while they are receiving Nivolumab.

NCT ID: NCT02973789 Active, not recruiting - NSCLC Clinical Trials

Effect of Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) (150 kHz) Concurrent With Standard of Care Therapies for Treatment of Stage 4 Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Following Platinum Failure (LUNAR)

Start date: December 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The study is a prospective, randomized controlled phase III trial aimed to test the efficacy and safety of TTFields, using the NovoTTF-200T device, concurrent with standard therapies for stage 4 NSCLC patients, following progression while on or after platinum based treatment. The device is an experimental, portable, battery operated device for chronic administration of alternating electric fields (termed TTFields or TTF) to the region of the malignant tumor, by means of surface, insulated electrode arrays.
