View clinical trials related to Growth Hormone Deficiency.
Filter by:The purpose of this study was to validate the growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) plus arginine (GHRH+arg) stimulation test and it´s cut-off limits for diagnosis of adult growth hormone deficiency using the growth hormone (GH) Immulite 2000 Xpi assay calibrated against the IS 98/574 from the World Health Organization. A specific aim was to study the effect of gender and age on the peak GH response in the GHRH+arg test
The purpose of this study is to assess the ease of use, preference, and safety after 8 weeks subcutaneous administration of EutropinPen Inj. in patients pretreated with recombinant human growth hormone by reusable device.
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of PEG Somatropin Injection in the treatment of children with growth hormone deficiency, as well as to study the feasibility of extending the dosing intervals (once per two weeks) of PEG Somatropin Injection.
Analysis of the short-and long-term impact of recombinant growth hormone on attention deficit and hyperactivity charachteristics in children and adolescents. This will be examined in children prior to GH therapy and 3, 6 and 12 months during treatment, by filling validated questionnaires (Vanderbilt rating scales) evaluating ADHD. Data will be compared to healthy control group.
The study will investigate 27 hour profiles of hormones in the subcutaneous tissue of healthy subjects and patients with Addison's, Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, Growth Hormone Deficiency, acromegaly, Cushings and Primary Hyperaldosteronism during conventional diagnostic and therapeutic follow-up. The 27 hour monitoring by ULTRADIAN takes into account the rhythm of hormones throughout the day. It is hoped that this information may in the future improve and simplify diagnostic procedures. Follow-up of patients in endocrinology still remains difficult including clinical signs of over and under-treatment, questionnaires of quality of life and blood testing necessitating often retesting. Simplification of the diagnostic procedure by obtaining detailed knowledge about the rhythm of hormones may contribute to the improvement and individualization of treatment and may decrease morbidity and mortality of endocrine patients.
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of PEG Somatropin Injection (Jintrolong®) in the treatment of short stature due to endogenous growth hormone deficiency (GHD) in the broad of population of children.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of recombinant human growth hormone on adult growth hormone deficiency
The aim of this study is to assess the developmental patterns of lung function in children affected by growth hormone deficiency after one year of GH therapy. The assessment by specific questionnaires of quality of life and of parental stress index.Parameters will be evaluated at the time of the diagnosis and after 12 months of GH therapy.
The study is a Phase 1, randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled, single-dose, three dose levels study in healthy Caucasian and Japanese male volunteers. Following a 4-week screening period, eligible male subjects will be stratified by ethnic group and will be randomized to one of six groups. On dosing day, designated as Day 1, each subject will receive single SC injection of study medication according to group allocation and will be followed up for a month for safety monitoring.
This study assesses the safety and tolerability of weekly TV-1106 compared to daily rhGH in adults with GHD who have previously been treated with rhGH.
