Effect of N-Acetylcysteine on Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio And Length of Stay In COVID-19 Patients

Start date: May 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This research is a study that compares the administration of N-acetylcysteine at various doses with the outcomes of COVID-19 patients, namely the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio and length of stay.

NCT ID: NCT05658536 Completed - Clinical trials for Post-COVID-19 Syndrome

The COPE Study: Pilot Intervention to Improve Symptom Self-management and Coping in Adults With Post COVID-19

Start date: January 18, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This project is a randomized controlled pilot trial using mixed methods to examine the feasibility, acceptability, and initial effects of a telemedicine group-based intervention designed to improve symptom management and coping in adults with Post-COVID.

NCT ID: NCT05658523 Active, not recruiting - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

COVID-19 Booster Study in Healthy Adults in Australia

Start date: February 28, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a double-blinded, randomised study to determine the safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity of a bivalent mRNA Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or a protein-based Novavax COVID-19 vaccine given as a fourth dose in healthy adults in Australia.

NCT ID: NCT05656521 Active, not recruiting - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

101-PGC-005 for the Treatment of COVID-19

Start date: January 31, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective, randomized, comparative, multi-centric, adaptive design clinical study to evaluate efficacy, safety, and tolerability of 101-PGC-005 ('005) when used alongside standard of care (SOC) for the treatment of hospitalized patients with coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

NCT ID: NCT05656508 Completed - COVID-19 Vaccine Clinical Trials

ARVAC - A New Recombinant Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Vaccine

Start date: April 20, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this clinical trial is to test a new vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 (ARVAC-CG) in healthy adult volunteers, previously vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The main questions it aims to answer are: - What is the safety and tolerability profile of the two-dose schedule of this new vaccine? - What is the immune response after each dose of vaccine Participants will receive two doses of the study vaccine 28 days apart. They will be required to complete a total of 7 safety and immunogenicity follow-up visits over a 1-year period.

NCT ID: NCT05656495 Completed - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Safety of Ambervin® and Standard Therapy in Hospitalized Patients With COVID-19

Start date: February 28, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is open-labe randomized multicenter comparative Phase III study conducted in 8 medical facilities. The objective of the study is to assess the efficacy, safety and tolerability of Ambervin for intramuscular and inhaled administration in complex therapy COVID-19 compared with the Standard of care (SOC) in hospitalized patients with moderate COVID-19.

NCT ID: NCT05656456 Completed - Clinical trials for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

Impact of COVID-19 on Mental Health of OCD Patients and live-in Family Members

COVIDOCS
Start date: April 6, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The impact of the current Covid-19 pandemic on mental health of people with preexisting psychiatric problems is enormous. This longitudinal study investigates the prevalence of mental health problems (obsessive compulsive, or depressive symptoms, anxiety, stress...) of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) patients and their live-in family members. We also aim to investigate the impact of the pandemic, isolation measures, exposure to media and changing therapeutic setting in OCD patients and their live-in family members through qualitative research.

NCT ID: NCT05656443 Completed - COVID-19 Pneumonia Clinical Trials

Study of GST-HG171/Ritonavir Compared With Placebo in Patients With Mild to Moderate COVID-19

Start date: December 19, 2022
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to assess the efficacy and safety of GST-HG171/Ritonavir in the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19.

NCT ID: NCT05656430 Active, not recruiting - Anxiety Symptoms Clinical Trials

ICBT for Psychological Symptoms Related to the COVID-19 Pandemic Remaining After Societal Opening

PCC
Start date: February 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aim to investigate the effects of internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (ICBT) addressing psychological symptoms related to the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences that remain after societal opening. The target group is adults (18 years or older) who still experience psychological symptoms related to the pandemic and the ICBT consists of eight modules during eight week with weekly support by a therapist. ICBT will be compared to a wait-list control condition. Participants will be recruited in Sweden with nationwide recruitment.

NCT ID: NCT05655351 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for CORONAVIRUS INFECTIONS

Effect of a Vaccination Against COVID-19 on Monocyte Production of Oxygenated Derivatives.

VACTICOV2
Start date: December 21, 2022
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Knowing that the vaccine antigen includes the ACE2 binding moiety (RBD), the hypothesis is that circulating vaccine antigen could reduce the enzymatic activity of ACE2, and thus increase circulating AngII concentration, monocyte ROS production and lymphocyte apoptosis. This hypothesis is supported by the fact that the Spike protein of SARSCoV-1, which uses the same receptor as SARS-CoV-2, induces a decrease in expression and activation of the Angiotensin II pathway in mice (Kuba et al. 2005).
