CVXGA1-001
Start date: August 6, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This Phase 1 trial is an open-label trial to evaluate the safety, reactogenicity and immunogenicity of two dosages (10^6 PFU and 10^7 PFU) of intranasal CVXGA1 administered as a single dose in healthy adults age 18-55 years and in adolescents age 12-17.

NCT ID: NCT04954248 Recruiting - Covid19 Clinical Trials

Pilot Study for PET/MR Imaging of Covid-19

Start date: July 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The primary goal of this project is to study the feasibility of a prototype brain-dedicated PET insert for an MR scanner for simultaneous acquisition of PET/MR images of metabolism and perfusion in Covid-19 negative and positive/once positive subjects. This study serves as a pilot study for establishing an imaging protocol for combined PET and MR derived functional information as well as MRI acquired anatomical information.

NCT ID: NCT04954235 Completed - Covid19 Clinical Trials

Effectiveness and Safety Study of Specific Hyperimmune Equine Serum for the Treatment of Severe Hospitalized SARS-CoV-2 in Adults: Retrospective Cohort Study

Start date: May 22, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

An observational, retrospective, classic cohort study of adult patients hospitalized for severe pneumonia with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 by RT-PCR will be carried out. The cohort will be divided into two arms: a group of patients who received treatment with anti-SARS-CoV-2 hyperimmune serum and a group of patients not exposed to the intervention during hospitalization corresponding to the period prior to the approval of the anti-hyperimmune serum SARS-CoV-2 for use. All patients will be have structured follow-up at 14, 21 and 28 days, until discharge or death.

NCT ID: NCT04954222 Completed - Covid19 Clinical Trials

Recovery of Respiratory System in COVID-19 Patients

Start date: February 14, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of the clinical course of treatment as well as long-term symptoms of COVID-19 on respiratory function, exercise capacity, and quality of life.

NCT ID: NCT04954131 Active, not recruiting - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

Immunogenicity and Safety Study of Adjuvanted SARS-CoV-2 (SCB-2019) Vaccine in Adultsin China

Start date: August 10, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this clinical study, CLO-SCB-2019-010, is to assess the immunogenicity, reactogenicity and safety of the SCB-2019 vaccine in Chinese participants, and to show the comparability of the immune response versus randomly selected individuals who participated in the large-scale efficacy study with the SCB-2019 vaccine (Study CLO-SCB-2019-003).

NCT ID: NCT04954118 Completed - COVID-19 Pneumonia Clinical Trials

A Different Use of The Aerosol Box in COVID-19 Patients; Internal Jugular Vein Cannulation

Start date: March 20, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

During the COVID-19 pandemic, health employees are at high risk of infection. This study aimed to determine experiences with an aerosol box (AB), used with the aim of preventing contamination by droplets during internal jugular vein cannulation which requires close contact with COVID-19 patients, and the necessity to use this device.

NCT ID: NCT04953312 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Calprotectin, a Biomarker of COVID-19 Severity (CALPRO)

CALPRO
Start date: January 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to provide new insights into the pathophysiology of emergency hematopoiesis detected in severe COVID-19 patients. The investigators aim to explore the ability of calprotectin to induce an immunosuppressive myeloid program at the hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell (HSPC) level, and to identify the receptor(s) involved in this effect. Since patients with a hematological malignancy demonstrate a very high propensity to develop a severe COVID-19, the investigators will explore how HSPCs collected from patients with a myeloid malignancy respond to calprotectin.
