A Research Study to Compare Somapacitan Once a Week With Norditropin® Once a Day in Children Who Need Help to Grow

The study compares two medicines for treatment of children born small and who stay small, or with Turner Syndrome, Noonan Syndrome, or idiopathic short stature. The purpose of the study is to see how well treatment with somapacitan works compared to treatment with Norditropin®. Somapacitan is a new medicine, and Norditropin® is a medicine doctors can already prescribe in some countries. The study will last for about 3 years. The participants will either get somapacitan once a week for 3 years or Norditropin® once a day for 1 year followed by somapacitan once a week for 2 years. Which treatment the participants get is decided by chance.

Influence of Modified Diet, Exercise and Electrical Swallowing Muscle Stimulation on Swallowing Function and Quality of Life in Elderly Patients With Oropharyngeal Dysphagia

Tasks of biomedical research: 1. To determine the severity of oropharyngeal dysphagia and the risk of aspiration in elderly patients. 2. To evaluate the quality of life of older patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia by performing validation of the Lithuanian version of the quality of life questionnaires in patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia. 3. To evaluate the severity of oropharyngeal dysphagia in elderly patients, the risk of aspiration, and quality of life after interventions. Data on the sex, age and disease of the swallowing disorder will be collected. No processing of other personal data and health indicators is planned. All data will be collected in questionnaires. The data will be depersonalized by giving the patient a code. The results and conclusions of the research will be described in the doctoral dissertation and will be used for scientific articles.

This study is looking at how Mim8 works compared to other medicines in children with haemophilia A, who either have inhibitors or do not have inhibitors. Mim8 is a new medicine that will be used for prevention of bleeds. Mim8 will be injected with a thin needle into the skin. The study will last for about 54-98 weeks, from screening to follow-up visit, In case the participant experiences bleeds, these can be treated with additional haemostatic medicine as agreed with the study doctor.

This is a Phase IIIb, single-arm, multicenter, OLE study. Participants receiving ocrelizumab as an investigational medicinal product (IMP) in a Roche sponsored Parent study who continue to receive ocrelizumab or are in safety follow-up at the time of the closure of their respective Parent study (WA21092, WA21093 or WA25046) are eligible for enrollment in this extension study. Participants who will continue ocrelizumab treatment will receive IMP based on the dosage and administration received at the time of rollover from the Parent study.

In hospital cardiac arrest (IHCA) is a major challenge imposed on almost all health care systems worldwide. Despite significant progress in cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the past few years, outcomes remain relatively poor with an approximate 49 % survival rate. Epinephrine administration remains a cornerstone in the treatment of cardiac arrest. However, the preferred route of administration remains a matter of debate within the medical community . Various routes of administration, including intravenous, intramuscular, intraosseous and endotracheal routes have been studied. Initially, American guidelines for the treatment of cardiac arrest recommended injection of 0.5 mg of epinephrine directly into the right ventricle through the parasternal approach, aiming to achieve higher peak intracardiac concentrations and a more central effect, however the intravenous route remained preferable due to its feasibility and safety . To our knowledge, intra-coronary epinephrine administration for intraprocedural cardiac arrest has not been evaluated or compared with other routes of administration.
