There are about 348 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Belarus. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of the study was to assess the efficacy, safety and tolerability of mirabegron 50 mg versus (vs) solifenacin 5 mg in the treatment of patients with OAB who were dissatisfied with their treatment due to lack of efficacy.
The study aims to collect data on the influence of a treatment with Visanne (Dienogest 2mg/d) on the Endometriosis related quality of life. These data will be collected using a special patient questionnaire (Endometriosis Health Profile 5, EHP-5). The study will also be used to describe the basic disease status and demographic characteristics of patients searching treatment by a gynecologist because of their endometriosis. In addition, the study will give insight into the typical diagnostic measures the physicians in different countries are using in the field of endometriosis.
The aim of this trial is to provide evidence that Actovegin has a symptomatic effect in subjects with post stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) during a six month treatment period compared to subjects administered placebo. Subjects received IV infusions whilst in hospital, and tablets once discharged. Subjects were followed up for a further six months after their treatment had been stopped to explore if the cognitive symptoms of the subjects treated with Actovegin showed sustained improvement. The trial also explored the possible prevention of dementia with Actovegin in patients who had suffered a recent ischaemic stroke, as well as the effect of Actovegin on other stroke outcomes. Safety information on Actovegin was collected.
The overall goal of the PROBIT study is to investigate the influence of a randomized breastfeeding promotion intervention designed to increase the duration and exclusivity of breastfeeding ("the breastfeeding promotion intervention") on the development of maternal and child health outcomes. The hypothesis is that randomization to the intervention will be associated with lower child adiposity, lower risk of asthma and atopy, improved lung function, and improved cognitive outcomes.
The purpose of this study is to compare effectiveness and safety of experimental anticancer medicine, AXL1717, and docetaxel in patients with squamous cell carcinoma or adenocarcinoma of the lung.
The purpose of this study is demonstrate that efficacy and safety of Synthon's glatiramer acetate (GTR) is equivalent to Copaxone® (Teva) in patients with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis
This is a phase 3, randomized, 2-arm, open-label, international trial evaluating alisertib compared with single-agent treatment, as selected by the investigator from the offered options of pralatrexate or gemcitabine or romidepsin, in participants with relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). Note: romidepsin was not used as a single-agent comparator outside the United States of America (USA) as supply was not available.
The DUAL-1 study is designed as a multicenter, double-blind two-period study with an initial fixed 16-week Period 1, followed by a Period 2 of variable duration. All patients completing Period 1 will continue on their original randomized treatment into Period 2, until the last randomized patient has completed Period 1. Patients will be randomized in a 1:1:1 ratio (macitentan 3mg: macitentan 10mg: placebo). The primary objective is to demonstrate the effect of macitentan on the reduction of the number of new digital ulcers in patients with systemic sclerosis and ongoing digital ulcers. Other objectives include: - the evaluation of the efficacy of macitentan on hand functionality and DU burden at Week 16 in SSc patients with ongoing DU disease. - the evaluation of the safety and tolerability of macitentan in these patients. - the evaluation of the efficacy of macitentan on time to first DU complication during the entire treatment period.
Study A0081106 is a 12-month open-label study to evaluate the long term safety and tolerability of pregabalin as add-on therapy in pediatric subjects 1 month to 16 years of age with partial onset seizures and pediatric and adult subjects 5 to 65 years of age with primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures. Pregabalin will be administered in equally divided daily doses for 1 year, in either capsule or liquid oral formulation.
This is a multi-centre prospective, non-inferiority trial. Patients will be randomized to two treatment groups in a 1:1 ratio and will be stratified by age, Karnofsky Performance Status and extent of the surgical resection. This study will assess the effect of a one-week radiotherapy regimen in comparison with a three-week radiotherapy regimen on the survival of elderly and/or frail patients with glioblastoma multiforme (Frail: ≥>50 years old and with a KPS of 50% or less50%-70%; Elderly and frail: ≥65 years and with a KPS of 50% - 70%; Elderly: ≥65 years and with a KPS of 80% - 100%).
