NCT ID: NCT03949777 Completed - Colon Cancer Clinical Trials

Validation of Aer-O-Scope Colonoscope System Cecal Intubation

Start date: January 6, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

61 subjects (male or female) between the ages of 45 and 75 will undergo colonoscopy. The primary outcome is Cecal Intubation

NCT ID: NCT03763266 Completed - Clinical trials for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases

Low Residue Diet During 3 Days vs 1 Day Prior Colonoscopy

Start date: December 6, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Colonoscopy is the gold-standard for the evaluation of the colorectal mucosa. Colonoscopy quality indicators are the adenoma detection rate, the rate of cecal intubation and the bowel preparation. The role of diet in preparing for colonoscopy is not fully established. Currently there is not enough evidence available to choice between 3 days of low residue diet versus 1 day. The research hypothesis is that the low residue diet offers a non-inferior bowel preparation and an improved tolerance.

NCT ID: NCT03638713 Completed - Colon Disease Clinical Trials

Comparison of Procedural Sequences in Same-day Painless Bidirectional Endoscopy With Colonoscopic Water Exchange Method

Start date: May 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This prospective randomized controlled trial is to compare evaluate the optimal procedure sequence among patients undergoing water exchange colonoscopy.

NCT ID: NCT03633539 Withdrawn - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Single-incision Versus Conventional Laparoscopic Surgery for Colorectal Cancer

mSILSC
Start date: August 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is designed to evaluate the short-term and long-term results after single incision laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer(SILSC) compared with conventional laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer(CLSC).

NCT ID: NCT03428724 Recruiting - Colon Disease Clinical Trials

Individualized Bowel Preparation for Colonoscopy

PREP2TARGET
Start date: February 1, 2018
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

A randomized control trial comparing a standard bowel preparation for colonoscopy with an individualized bowel preparation strategy based on patient characteristics

NCT ID: NCT03332498 Completed - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Pembrolizumab in Combination With Ibrutinib for Advanced, Refractory Colorectal Cancers

Start date: January 24, 2018
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and tolerability, describe the dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs), and determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) (or the highest protocol-defined dose level in the absence of establishing an MTD) of ibrutinib in combination with pembrolizumab in participants with advanced, refractory colorectal cancers.

NCT ID: NCT03279705 Completed - Colonoscopy Clinical Trials

The efficacy of the Integrated Water Jet Channel Colonoscopy in Water Exchange Method

Start date: May 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This prospective randomized controlled trial compared integrated water jet channel colonoscopy with traditional accessory channel colonoscopy in cecal insertion time among patients undergoing WE method colonoscopy.

NCT ID: NCT03148054 Recruiting - Colon Disease Clinical Trials

Computed Tomography vs. Endoscopy Study

Start date: February 17, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Patients undergoing elective surgery for left-sided colon resection are asked to participate in this study: Every patient undergoes two types of examinations (endoscopy, CT scan) on day 3, 4 or 5 postoperatively. These two procedures are subject to investigation in terms of their accuracy (sensitivity, specificity) in detection of anastomotic leaks. The patients are followed up until day 42 postoperatively. There are no other specific tests or examinations within the study. Information and informed consent are obtained preoperatively.

NCT ID: NCT02955901 Completed - Colonic Neoplasms Clinical Trials

3-day vs. 1-day Low Residue Diet Influence in Colonoscopy Preparation and Patient Tolerability

Start date: January 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Colonoscopy is one of the most common methods for the diagnosis and treatment of lower gastrointestinal tract diseases and provides a unique opportunity to identify early neoplastic lesions. Adequate bowel preparation is important for optimal colonoscopy. New bowel-cleansing regimens, study of patient-related risk factors to fail a proper preparation and diet adaptations have been studied recently. A low residue diet is the standard in the day before the colonoscopy. Some endoscopists prescribe this dietary plan for a 3-day period prior to the exam, although no study compared the recommended 1-day versus 3-day diet regime, or the influence in bowel preparation results. The aim of this project is to determine if the use of a 3-day low residue diet improves bowel preparations results and the influence in patient tolerability and adherence.

NCT ID: NCT02304523 Completed - Colon Disease Clinical Trials

Safety and Efficacy of CDFR0612 and CDFR0613 for Bowel Cleansing Before Colonoscopy

Start date: January 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of CDFR0612 and CDFR0613 compared to PEG+picosulfate (Coolprep Powder) preparation. The effectiveness for bowel cleansing will be assessed with Harefield Cleansing Scale (HCS) by blinded assessor.
