NCT ID: NCT05269381 Recruiting - Metastatic Melanoma Clinical Trials

Personalized Neoantigen Peptide-Based Vaccine in Combination With Pembrolizumab for Treatment of Advanced Solid Tumors

PNeoVCA
Start date: March 31, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial tests the safety and tolerability of an experimental personalized vaccine when given by itself and with pembrolizumab in treating patients with solid tumor cancers that have spread to other places in the body (advanced). The experimental vaccine is designed target certain proteins (neoantigens) on individuals' tumor cells. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving the personalized neoantigen peptide-based vaccine with pembrolizumab may be safe and effective in treating patients with advanced solid tumors.

NCT ID: NCT05268614 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Risk Adapted De-Intensification of Radio-Chemotherapy for Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Start date: May 16, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study builds on the results of several prior studies that we have been involved with to test the hypothesis that Risk-Adapted De-Intensification of Radiation Therapy and chemotherapy based on HPV subtype, plasma circulating free HPV DNA (cfHPV DNA) level, and cfHPV DNA clearance rate produces Local-Regional Control rates that are similar to what has been achieved with more aggressive therapy in patients with Favorable Prognosis Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OPSCC).

NCT ID: NCT05265962 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Decitabine Plus Penpulimab as Second-line Therapy for Advanced ESCC Treated With PD-1 Blockade

Start date: December 1, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to observe and evaluate the efficacy and safety of Decitabine plus Penpulimab as second-line therapy for advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma treated with PD-1 blockade

NCT ID: NCT05256381 Active, not recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of SOT101 in Combination With Pembrolizumab to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety in Patients With Selected Advanced Solid Tumors

Start date: June 21, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of the study is to estimate the antitumor efficacy of nanrilkefusp alfa in combination with pembrolizumab in selected tumors.

NCT ID: NCT05252429 Recruiting - Effect of Drug Clinical Trials

Docetaxel/Pembrolizumab in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Start date: July 6, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Pembrolizumab monotherapy and platinum-based chemotherapy in the combination with pembrolizumab for recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (R/M HNSCC) have been widely used in daily clinical practice based on the KEYNOTE-048 study. On the other hand, docetaxel is a commonly used antimitotic agent in cancer therapy and might have potent antitumor effect by the immune response. A combination therapy of docetaxel and pembrolizumab might be a promising treatment for R/M HNSCC. The KEYNOTE-048 study showed that pembrolizumab plus platinum and 5-fluorouracil is a tolerable treatment for R/M HNSCC. The main grade 3/4 adverse event of platinum and 5-fluorouracil was myelosuppression such as neutropenia similar to docetaxel in some studies for R/M HNSCC. The safety profile of platinum and 5-fluorouracil is not much different from docetaxel. Therefore, docetaxel/pembrolizumab combination treatment might also be tolerable. The hypothesis of this study is that a combination therapy of docetaxel and pembrolizumab will provide benefit for patients with R/M HNSCC.

NCT ID: NCT05252078 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

NCT ID: NCT05249426 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC)

A Study to Test Whether Different Combinations of BI 765063, Ezabenlimab, Chemotherapy, Cetuximab, and BI 836880 Help People With Head and Neck Cancer or Liver Cancer

Start date: February 25, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study is open to adults with head and neck cancer or liver cancer. This is a study for people for whom previous treatment was not successful or no standard treatment exists. The purpose of this study is to find out whether combining different medicines make tumours shrink in people with head and neck cancer or liver cancer. The tested medicines in this study are antibodies that act in different ways against cancer. BI 765063 and ezabenlimab may help the immune system fight cancer (checkpoint inhibitors). Cetuximab blocks growth signals and may prevent the tumour from growing. BI 836880 blocks the formation of new blood vessels that the tumour needs to grow. All participants get BI 765063 and ezabenlimab. One group gets no additional medicine. The other groups get either BI 836880, cetuximab, or chemotherapy. BI 765063, ezabenlimab, and BI 836880 are given as infusions into veins every 3 weeks. Cetuximab is given as an infusion every 1 or 2 weeks. Participants can stay in the study as long as they benefit from treatment and can tolerate it. The doctors monitor the size of the tumour. The doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.

NCT ID: NCT05246228 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Skin

Immune System Modulation and Outcome in High-risk cSCC Treated With Surgery and Radiotherapy

HR-cSCC
Start date: March 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Treatment with adjuvant radiotherapy modulates immune system in many diseases as witnessed by dynamic changes of humoral and cellular immunity. Moreover, the persistent lymphopenia after radiation therapy is a negative prognostic factor. This study is aimed to explore the changes in immune-cell populations during radiotherapy given as adjuvant treatment for high-risk cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas and to correlate them with patient's outcome.
