Filter by:This is an open-label, randomized, controlled trial. At the end of a 28-day screening period, all eligible subjects will be randomly assigned into treatment Arm A or B in a 1:1 ratio. Subjects in Arm A will receive a maximum of 6 cycles of chemotherapy (cisplatin plus paclitaxel) and cetuximab weekly in the absence of progressive disease (PD), as assessed by the Investigator, and unacceptable toxicity. After 6 cycles of treatment, subjects who derive clinical benefit will continue treatment with cetuximab as monotherapy until either PD or unacceptable toxicity. Subjects in Arm B will receive the same chemotherapy regimen as Arm A alone for a maximum of 6 cycles in the absence of PD and unacceptable toxicity.
Primary Objective: To determine the 2-year distant failure rate of maintenance tegafur-uracil in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of oral cavity with extracapsular spreading of lymph nodes. Secondary Objectives: - To determine the 2-year locoregional failure rate. - To evaluate the 2-year overall survival (OS) rate. - To evaluate the 2-year progression-free survival (PFS) rate. - To assess the safety profiles.
This study is to observe and compare the safety and tolerability of docetaxel plus lobaplatin induction chemotherapy combined with lopoplatin chemoradiotherapy and TPF induction chemotherapy combined with cisplatin chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
Efficacy and safety evaluation of IBI308 versus paclitaxel/irinotecan in patients with advanced/metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma after failure of first-line treatment: a randomized, open-label, multicenter, phase 2 study
One of the main reasons for treating actinic keratoses (AK) is the wish to lower the risk of progression of AK to squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). This risk is in the order of 1 per 1000 AKs per year, which is in itself a small risk, but since patients can have dozens of AKs and the disease is chronic the cumulative risk for a patient can be substantial. In this extension protocol of trials LP0084-1193, -1194, -1195 and -1196, LEO will study the incidence of SCCs and other skin neoplasia in vehicle and ingenol disoxate treated patients over a period of 2 years, so that the total follow-up time for each patient will be 3 years and 2 months.
To find the highest tolerable dose of stereotactic hypofractionated radioablation (HYDRA) radiation that can be given to patients with laryngeal cancer. The safety of this radiation will also be studied.
Non-randomized phase I/II, open-labeled clinical study, 1-arm, multicenter, of docetaxel (T), cisplatin (P), 5-fluorouracil (F) and pembrolizumab every 21 days for 3 cycles followed by radiotherapy (RT) combined with carboplatin in untreated unresectable locally-advanced Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC). The TPF and pembrolizumab combination will be called TP²F.
This is a German, observational study in adult participants diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN) progressing on or after platinum-based therapy, who start a new systemic therapy with nivolumab in 1st line (cohort 2) or ≥2nd line (cohort 1) for the first time, and are treated within the market authorization approval. Participants are to be enrolled into the study no earlier than the decision to initiate treatment with nivolumab and no later than the first dose of nivolumab treatment.
This phase II trial studies how well stereotactic body radiation therapy with or without nivolumab works in treating patients with stage I-IIA non-small cell lung cancer or cancer that has come back. Stereotactic body radiation therapy uses special equipment to position a patient and deliver radiation to tumors with high precision. This method can kill tumor cells with fewer doses over a shorter period and cause less damage to normal tissue. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving stereotactic body radiation therapy and nivolumab may work better at treating non-small cell lung cancer.
