The goal of this research study is to establish the safety and then to explore the effectiveness of infusing the combination of cytokine-induced memory-like (CIML) natural killer (NK) cells, a type of immune cell in the blood that is collected and bathed in special proteins to help identify and treat curtained advanced cancers, combined with N-803, a medication that increases the activity of Interleukin-15, which is a cytokine that activates immune cells, in advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma and urothelial carcinoma. Names of the study therapies involved in this study are/is: - CIML NK cell therapy (a NK cell therapy) - N-803 (a type of recombinant human IL-15 superagonist)
This study will assess the efficacy and safety profile of fruquintinib in combination with everolimus as second line therapy of clear cell renal cell carcinoma patients who progressed after immunotherapy and tyrosine kinase inhibitor.
To evaluate the safety of reoperation in patients with renal tumors who have ipsilateral tumor recurrence after nephron-sparing partial nephrectomy.
The primary objective of the study is to compare V940 plus pembrolizumab to placebo plus pembrolizumab with respect to disease-free survival (DFS) as assessed by the investigator. The primary hypothesis is that V940 plus pembrolizumab is superior to placebo plus pembrolizumab with respect to DFS.
This is a single-arm, monocentric, phase II trial, enrolling patients with histological diagnosis of collecting duct carcinoma and renal medullary carcinoma with locally advanced or metastatic disease who will be treated with Pembrolizumab plus Enfortumab Vedotin. Approximately, 23 patients will be enrolled. At screening, pre-existing archival primary and metastatic FFPE tumor specimen will be collected and submitted for central pathology review and translational analysis. All participants will undergo baseline screening imaging for clinical staging. Patients will be treated with Pembrolizumab q21 plus Enfortumab Vedotin 1,8q21 for 3 cycles (3 infusion of Pembrolizumab and 6 infusion of Enfortumab Vedotin) then radiological imaging will be repeated and patients with SD, PR or CR will continue pembrolizumab until disease progression, unacceptable toxicities or completion of treatment (17 cycles). Patients with progressive disease after 3 cycles of study intervention will be treated as per clinical practice. Patients who will experience progressive disease during pembrolizumab monotherapy treatment could restart Enfortumab Vedotin. The study will also involve collection of a blood sample taken at the commencement of treatment, at the first cycle, after cycle 3 and at the end of treatment or progression of disease, to be used for research purposes.
The Urology Unit of AOUI Verona proposes a clinical study aimed at a preliminary evaluation of postoperative complications specifically focused on robotic partial nephrectomy (RAPN) procedures using three currently available platforms: - DaVinci®; - Hugo®; - Versius®. The questions it aims to answer are: Does the estimation of the post-operative complications suggest something? Are differences (intra- and post-operative, oncological, functional, technical, and economic) among the three intervention approaches observable? Participants will be invited to join one of these three experimental group: 1. surgery with the DaVinci platform; 2. surgery with the Hugo platform; 3. surgery with the Versius platform.
This study aims to evaluate the safety, and early signals of anti-tumor activity of PF-07820435 when administered alone (Part 1A) or in combination with sasanlimab (Part 1B; Part 2) in patients with selected advanced or metastatic solid tumors. Part 1 will be dose-finding and Part 2 of the study will further evaluate PF-07820435 at the recommended dose for combination expansion in patients with selected advanced solid tumors.
To learn if evolocumab and nivolumab can control metastatic and refractory renal cell carcinoma. The safety of this drug combination will also be studied.
Study Objective: To determine the efficacy of upfront immune checkpoint inhibitors combined with deferred cytoreductive nephrectomy in treating metastatic renal cell carcinoma. Primary Endpoint: Pathological Major Response (MPR), defined as the percentage of residual tumor cells <10% in the primary tumor after nephrectomy. Study Design: Population: Participants meeting the diagnostic criteria with biopsy-proven clear cell renal cell carcinoma, IMDC score ≤3, or ≤5 metastatic lesions involving ≤3 organs. Sample Size: 20 participants. Patient Grouping: Non-randomized. Interventions: Eligible participants will receive upfront treatment with a combination of Axitinib and Toripalimab for 4 cycles. After 2 cycles of treatment, radiological assessment will be conducted using RECIST 1.1 criteria. If disease progression is observed, the clinical trial will be terminated, and second-line treatment will be initiated according to guidelines. If disease progression is not observed, treatment will continue for 2 additional cycles followed by repeat radiological assessment before undergoing surgery.
