Does Higher OT Temperature and IV Ondansetron Reduce Incidence of PSS in Parturients?

This study will look at the incidence of post-spinal shivering (PSS) among the obstetrics population and will investigate whether higher operation theater (OT) temperature range or/and IV Ondansetron are able to reduce the incidence of PSS. This is a double-blind, randomized, factorial study, patients will be grouped into 4 groups - LP, HP, LO, HO (L= low-temperature range, H= high-temperature range, P= placebo, O=Ondansetron). All patients undergoing cesarean section under spinal anesthesia will be recruited, and it will be conducted in obstetrics OT.

A Warmer Temperature Decrease Propofol Injection Pain

Propofol injection pain will be surfed by up to 70-80 percentage by the Patients who induced by propofol. Temperature of Operating room was set to a certain range in normal clinical practice, which is 22- 26 centigrade. Warm feeling will make skin vassal dilated and more blood will pass through to bring more heat out of our body. It had been reported that a bigger venous vessels will get less propofol injection pain. The investigators hypothesis that Patients who stayed in a warmer room temperature will surf less injection pain while compare to a normal setting room temperature.

Postoperative Temperature Monitoring In Brain Trauma

This prospective observational study is designed to investigate the relationship between brain temperature, axillary temperature, rectal temperature, and bladder temperature of postoperative patients with brain trauma, and the relationship between brain temperature and prognosis. This study is conducted based on the following important assumptions. First, brain temperature of postoperative patients with brain trauma should be higher than the axillary temperature, rectal temperature and bladder temperature. Second, the consistency of brain temperature and bladder temperature is better than the consistency of brain temperature and axillary temperature, as well as that of brain temperature and rectal temperature. Third, brain temperature can help clinicians to predict the prognosis of patients with brain trauma. Therefore, brain temperature monitoring is significant in postoperative intensive care and treatment of patients with brain trauma.

The Investigators will analyze in three different types of anesthesia (general, spinal and pediatric population).
