Evaluation of Diagnostic Performance of VisioCyt® Test, in Case of Suspicion of Urothelial Bladder Tumors

VISIOCYT 1
Start date: January 24, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical study is designed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of VisioCyt test, which would improve the early diagnosis of bladder cancer in order to optimize the management of individual patients as part of a cancer diagnostic monitoring. The diagnostic method of VisioCyt® device is based on the analysis by transmission and fluorescence, of urinary cytology slides prepared according to the protocol VisioCyt.

NCT ID: NCT02951767 Completed - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of Atezolizumab in Participants With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Urothelial Bladder Cancer (Cohort 1)

Start date: May 31, 2014
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This Phase II, single-arm study is designed to evaluate the effect of atezolizumab treatment in participants with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial bladder cancer. Participants will be enrolled into 1 of 2 cohorts. Cohort 1 (reported here) will consist of participants who are treatment-naïve and ineligible for cisplatin-containing chemotherapy. Cohort 2 will contain participants who have progressed during or following a prior platinum-based chemotherapy regimen. The results of the second cohort are reported separately (NCT02108652). Participants in both cohorts will be given a 1200 milligrams (mg) intravenous (IV) dose of atezolizumab on Day 1 of 21-day cycles. Treatment of participants in Cohort 1 will continue until disease progression per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors Version 1.1 (RECIST v1.1) or unmanageable toxicity. Treatment of participants in Cohort 2 will continue until loss of clinical benefit or unmanageable toxicity.

NCT ID: NCT02951325 Recruiting - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

Bladder Cancer Adjuvant Radiotherapy Trial

BART
Start date: June 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Aim and objectives: This trial aims to evaluate the role of adjuvant radiotherapy following chemotherapy in patients with high-risk features on histo-pathology after radical surgery for transitional cell carcinoma of urinary bladder

NCT ID: NCT02951078 Not yet recruiting - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of Comparing Effects of Thulium Laser en Bloc Resection and Electrical Transurethral Resection of the Non-muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer

Start date: January 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is to verify the short-term efficacy and long-term prognosis of thulium laser resection compared with conventional transurethral resection of non-muscular invasive bladder cancer. Half of participants will receive thulium laser resection of bladder cancer, while the other half will receive electrical transurethral resection of bladder cancer.

NCT ID: NCT02948543 Active, not recruiting - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

Adding Mitomycin to BCG as Adjuvant Intravesical Therapy for High-risk Non-Muscle-invasive Bladder Cancer

BCG+MM
Start date: July 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Open label, randomised phase 3 trial of the addition of Mitomycin to BCG as adjuvant intravesical therapy for high-risk, non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. The study aim is to compare disease-free survival between treatment arms: BCG alone versus Mitomycin in addition to BCG.

NCT ID: NCT02942121 Completed - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

Application-based Perioperative Management of the Radical Cystectomy Patient

Start date: September 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to learn whether it is feasible to use the LifeScience Technologies application (LST app) in patients undergoing radical cystectomy with the eventual goal to reduce complications and readmissions to the hospital after surgery.

Phase 2 Durvalumab (Medi4736) for Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) Refactory Urothelial Carcinoma in Situ of the Bladder

Start date: February 16, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to test if an experimental drug called Durvalumab (Medi4736) given by intravenous (IV) infusion is effective in treating carcinoma in situ (CIS) of the bladder that no longer responds to Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) and to collect information on the safety of these drugs and whether they cause any side effects.

NCT ID: NCT02897375 Completed - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Palbociclib With Cisplatin or Carboplatin in Advanced Solid Tumors

Start date: October 24, 2016
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of palbociclib with cisplatin or carboplatin in treating patients with solid tumors that have spread to other places and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment. Palbociclib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving palbociclib with cisplatin or carboplatin may help stop tumor growth in patients with advanced solid tumors.
