Filter by:This quality improvement project is aimed at improving health care by identifying low cost strategies to get Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) patients to more effectively communicate with their physicians about osteoporosis prevention and treatment (improving doctor-patient communication). The investigators will implement a direct to patient intervention to the population of interest (patients on chronic glucocorticoids) via story-telling, using an Internet based video. The target audience is people on chronic glucocorticoids not already receiving bones-specific osteoporosis medications to determine differences in post-intervention rates of osteoporosis care, and the rates of prescription anti-osteoporosis therapies.
This study will assess the safety and efficacy of secukinumab when added to a background therapy in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who are intolerant to or have had an inadequate response to anti-tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α agents.
The data in this prospective registry will be used 1) to define which surgical and nonoperative techniques are most effective at providing pain relief, restoring function, are cost effective, and patients are satisfied with their outcomes; and 2) to design focused clinical questions regarding the optimal treatment of basal joint arthritis of the thumb in future randomized controlled trials. There are no interventions or changes in patient care associated with this study.
This open-label, retrospective, observational study will evaluate the compliance to RoActemra/Actemra (tocilizumab) therapy in patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis. Six months data will be collected from patients records.
The purpose of this study is to conduct an Investigator-Sponsored Study to determine the potential immunomodulatory effects of Certolizumab Pegol (CZP) treatment at the site of disease activity (synovial lining) in subjects with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), using pre treatment and post treatment arthroscopic synovial biopsies and ex vivo on gene expression.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effective dose of BMS-945429 in subjects with inadequate response to Methotrexate in the treatment of moderate to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis.
This trial is conducted in Europe. The aim of this dose-escalating trial is to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (the rate at which the body eliminates the trial drug) and pharmacodynamics (the effect of the investigated drug on the body) of single and repeated doses of NNC141-0100 in subjects with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Thus study will test an experimental drug called Z-102 (combination of prednisolone and dipyridamole) to treat patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the radiographic outcomes of Total Ankle Arthroplasty in patients having a calcaneal stem.
This is a research study which is being done to determine the outcomes following Agility LP ankle replacement. This implant was approved by the FDA in 2007 and has been used since then with good early results. You are being asked to volunteer for this study because you have undergone Total Ankle Arthroplasty with Agility LP prosthesis. The purpose of the study is to compare the range of motion, level of pain and function during daily living prior to and after your ankle surgery.
