The primary objective of this study is to obtain implant survivorship and clinical outcomes data for commercially available Persona knee implants used in primary total knee arthroplasty. The assessment will include: 1. Implant survivorship based on removal of a study device. 2. Safety based on incidence and frequency of adverse events. 3. Clinical performance measured by overall pain and function, quality of life data, radiographic parameters and survivorship.
Total wrist arthroplasty (TWA) surgery has developed gradually and can offer patients with rheumatoid arthritis/osteoarthritis reduced wrist pain with mainly preserved wrist range of movement. Each year 60-70 patients in Sweden are operated with a total wrist arthroplasty. Several implants are available on the market and they all have different pros and cons. One risk with a total wrist arthroplasty is loosening of the implant. If an implant is loose, revision of the implant to another TWA is sometimes possible, if not, a wrist fusion is the likely alternative. Revision rates five years after the index operation have improved, however, they cannot yet compare with the results after a total hip arthroplasty. A newly designed TWA has been developed by the department of Hand Surgery, Örebro university Hospital, Örebro, Sweden, in cooperation with Trimed Inc. The newly developed TWA offers theoretical advantages and has been biomechanically tested at the Mayo clinic. This is a pilot study where patients operated with the TWA will be assessed pre and postoperatively according to study protocol in order to evaluate outcome after TWA radiologically, clinically and regarding patient perceived outcome measures.

Primary Objective: To demonstrate that sarilumab monotherapy was superior to adalimumab monotherapy with respect to signs and symptoms as assessed by disease activity score 28 (DAS28)-erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) in participants with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who were either intolerant of, or considered inappropriate candidates for continued treatment with methotrexate (MTX), or after at least 12 weeks of continued treatment with MTX, were determined to be inadequate responders. Secondary Objectives: To demonstrate that sarilumab monotherapy was superior to adalimumab monotherapy in participants with active RA who were either intolerant of, or considered inappropriate candidates for continued treatment with MTX, or after at least 12 weeks of continued treatment with MTX, were determined to be inadequate responders, with respect to: - Reduction of signs and symptoms of RA. - Improvement in quality of life assessed by participant reported outcome questionnaires. Assessment of the safety and tolerability of sarilumab monotherapy (including immunogenicity) throughout the study.

This was a monocentric, open label, Phase I-IIa study. Eligible patients who signed the ICF received two single intravenous (IV) bolus of the imaging agent 99mTc-rhAnnexin V-128. The first dose was administered on Day 1, and the second dose on Day 42 (±2 weeks). All patients were to start a new disease modifying treatment for RA or AS on Day 2. This disease modifying treatment was at the discretion of the investigator and was not chosen by the sponsor. Safety was monitored at every visit. Whole body scintigraphic imaging was performed at Day 1 and Day 42 after 99mTc-rhAnnexin V-128 dosing. Clinical disease assessments were performed at screening, Day 42 and Day 90 to assess response to RA or AS treatment. Blood was drawn to test for 99mTc-rhAnnexin V-128 immunogenicity at screening and on Days 30, 56 and 90. Patients participating in the pharmacokinetic (PK)/dosimetric sub-study had additional assessments in the 24 hours following the Day 1 dose of 99mTc-rhAnnexin V-128.
Generally, osteoarthris (OA) is considered as primarily cartilage disease. However, as we and others have previously reported, a portion of OA might be caused primarily by bone alterations. In this study, we prospectively and retrospectively show that the bone altertations may affect OA primarily in all of the joints. In addition, rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a joint disease when immune system attacks synovium. Joint destruction occurrs continuously if suitable treatment is not performed. The etiology of RA is still largely unknown. As with OA, RA can be primarily damaged in bone, instead of cartilage. Here we prospectively and retrospectively show that the bone altertations may affect RA primarily in all of the joints.
The overall goal of this proposal is to address barriers to the use of patient reported outcome (PRO) data in the Dept. of Veterans Affairs (VA) health care system.
This multi-center, observational, retrospective-prospective cohort study will investigate the safety of rituximab (MabThera) by collecting data from daily clinical practice on the use of rituximab and its relative clinical impact, particularly with regard to adverse events. Data from each patient will be collected over 24 months after enrolment in the study. Target sample size is up to 325 patients.
