Filter by:The aim of this study is to analyse the effectiveness and security in the prevention of anastomotic leakage by protecting the ileocolic anastomosis with a reabsorbable NHS-PEG collagen patch.
This phase I trial studies the side effects of losartan and hypofractionated radiation therapy after chemotherapy in treating patients with pancreatic cancer that may or may not be removed by surgery (borderline resectable) or has spread from its original site of growth to nearby tissues or lymph nodes and is not amenable to surgical resection (locally advanced unresectable). Losartan may improve blood flow and allows for better tissue oxygenation. Hypofractionated radiation therapy delivers higher doses of radiation therapy over a shorter period of time and may kill more tumor cells and have fewer side effects. Giving losartan and hypofractionated radiation therapy may work better in treating patients with pancreatic cancer compared to hypofractionated radiation therapy alone.
This is a randomized, active-controlled, parallel-group, double-blind Phase II trial, of oral restorative microbiota therapy (RMT) or placebo combined with intravenous (IV) durvalumab (MEDI4736) plus chemotherapy in patients with treatment naïve advanced or metastatic adenocarcinoma non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
PaCaReg is a multicenter registry trial aiming in the assessement of clinical, epidemiological and biological profiles in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of of anti-PD-1 antibody in combination with chemotherapy as first-line treatment in patients with unresectable, locally advanced recurrent or metastatic serum AFP-elevated gastric and gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma.
The objective of this study is to assess weight stability, functional changes, and quality of life when Pancreaze (pancrelipase) delayed-release 84,000-lipase units (capsules), for main meals, and 42,000-lipase units (capsules), for snacks, are added to standard of care in patients with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency due to pancreatic adenocarcinoma. This will be the first prospective study of this particular formulation in addition to standard of care in advanced pancreatic cancer patients. We will treat 40 consecutive patients with borderline resectable, locally advanced and advanced pancreatic cancer patients who present with weight loss and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency with this advanced formulation of Pancreaze.
Assess the effectiveness of galeterone in advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma
This phase III trial studies how well letrozole with or without paclitaxel and carboplatin works in treating patients with stage II-IV low-grade serous carcinoma of the ovary, fallopian tube, or peritoneum. Letrozole is an enzyme inhibitor that lowers the amount of estrogen made by the body which in turn may stop the growth of tumor cells that need estrogen to grow. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known whether giving letrozole alone or in combination with paclitaxel and carboplatin works better in treating patients with low-grade serous carcinoma of the ovary, fallopian tube, or peritoneum compared to paclitaxel and carboplatin without letrozole.
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of peposertib when given together with pegylated liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride in treating patients with high or low grade ovarian cancer that has come back after a period of improvement (recurrent). Peposertib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as pegylated liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving peposertib and pegylated liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride may work better in treating patients with ovarian cancer compared to pegylated liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride alone.
Based on targeted NGS panel results, metastatic gastric cancer patients with gene amplifications will receive either anti-EGFR antibody (GC-1118) in combination with weekly paclitaxel as a second-line therapy.
