Prognostic Biomarkers in Patients With Endometrial Cancer

Validating The Prognostic Role of ATR Mutation in Patients With Endometrioid Endometrial Cancer

This research study is studying prognostic biomarkers in tissue samples from patients with endometrial cancer. Studying samples of tissue from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to cancer.

Evaluation of the Molecular Effects of Metformin on the Endometrium in Patients With Endometrial Cancer

Evaluation of the Molecular Effects of Metformin on the Endometrium in Patients With Endometrial Cancer

The goal of this research study is to learn if metformin can affect endometrial cancer cells in women who do not have diabetes. Objectives: Primary Objectives: 1. To determine the molecular effects of metformin and associated physiologic changes in insulin/glucose metabolism on the mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) signaling pathway in the endometrium of women with endometrial cancer Secondary Objectives: 1. To describe the effects of metformin on the histology and proliferation of the endometrium in women with endometrial cancer. 2. To assess the effect of body mass index on the response to treatment with metformin 3. To assess the effect of insulin resistance on the response to treatment with metformin 4. To determine effects of metformin on the serum, urine and DNA biomarkers of women with endometrial cancer.

Biomarkers in Samples From Patients With Endometrial Cancer

Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) in Endometrial Cancer

This research study is studying biomarkers in samples from patients with endometrial cancer. Studying samples from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to cancer.

Racial and Genetic Biomarkers of Response in Tissue Samples From Patients With Endometrial Cancer

The Relationship of Racial Genetic Admixture With Endometrial Cancer Outcomes

This research study is studying racial and genetic biomarkers of response in tissue samples from patients with endometrial cancer. Studying samples of tissue from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to cancer. DNA analysis of tumor tissue may also help doctors predict how well patients will respond to treatment.

Trisenox® in Women With Metastatic Endometrial Cancer - NRR

A Phase II Trial of Trisenox in Women With Recurrent or Metastatic Endometrial Adenocarcinoma

The primary purpose of this study is to see whether women who have already received chemotherapy for their endometrial cancer, or who have disease that has spread outside of the uterus, will respond to the drug arsenic trioxide (Trisenox®) as judged by shrinkage of their tumor.

NCT01184053 — Endometrial Carcinoma

Biomarkers in Tumor Tissue Samples From Patients With Stage III, Stage IV, or Recurrent Endometrial Cancer

Topoisomerase 2-Alpha (TOPO2A) Genomic Alterations and Immunohistochemical Expression as Well as Chromosome 17 Polysomy in Advanced or Recurrent Endometrial Carcinoma Treated With Anthracycline-Based Therapy

This research study is studying biomarkers in tissue samples from patients with stage III, stage IV, or recurrent endometrial cancer. Studying samples of tumor tissue from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and identify biomarkers related to cancer.

NCT01164735 — Recurrent Uterine Corpus Carcinoma

Cediranib Maleate in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Persistent Endometrial Cancer

A Phase II Evaluation of Cediranib (Recentin; AZD2171, IND#72740, NSC# 732208) in the Treatment of Recurrent or Persistent Endometrial Carcinoma

This phase II trial studies the side effects and how well cediranib maleate works in treating patients with endometrial cancer that has failed to respond to initial chemotherapy or has come back after surgery, radiation therapy, or other forms of treatment. Cediranib maleate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking proteins made by tumors that can stimulate growth of tumor cells as well as blood vessels in and around tumors.

Biomarkers in Tissue Samples From Patients With Stage I or Stage III Endometrial Cancer

Micro RNA's Associated With Lymph Node Metastasis in Endometrial Cancer

RATIONALE: Studying samples of tumor tissue from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors identify and learn more about biomarkers related to cancer. PURPOSE: This research study is studying at biomarkers in tissue samples from patients with stage I or stage III endometrial cancer.

Study of Lenvatinib in Subjects With Advanced Endometrial Cancer and Disease Progression

An Open-Label, Single-Arm, Multicenter Phase II Study of E7080 (Lenvatinib) in Subjects With Advanced Endometrial Cancer and Disease Progression Following First-Line Chemotherapy

To assess the objective response rate (ORR: complete response + partial response [CR+ PR]) of E7080 in subjects with unresectable endometrial cancer and disease progression following platinum-based, first-line chemotherapy. .

Liposome-Encapsulated Doxorubicin Citrate and Carboplatin in Treating Patients With Advanced or Metastatic Recurrent Endometrial Cancer

Phase II Multicenter Trial of the Austrian AGO With the Combination of Liposomal Doxorubicin (Myocet®) and Carboplatin in Primary Advanced or Metastatic and Recurrent Endometrial Cancer

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as liposome-encapsulated doxorubicin citrate and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well liposome-encapsulated doxorubicin citrate given together with carboplatin works in treating patients with advanced or metastatic recurrent endometrial cancer.
