Filter by:A phase III prospective study with the primary objective to investigate the benefit of Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) in ovarian cancer patients with mutations in homologous recombination repair (HRR) genes. The target population for this study is patients with recurrent ovarian, peritoneal or fallopian tube cancers undergoing Cytoreductive Surgery (CRS). Patients will be divided into two groups according to HRR genes mutation, each group will be further divided into two sub-groups with different intervention. Patients in Group A are HRR mutated type, sub-group 1 will undergo CRS plus HIPEC and then go on to receive standard platinum-based combination doublet intravenous chemotherapy, sub-group 2 will undergo CRS and then go on to intravenous chemotherapy. Patients in Group B are HRR wild type, sub-group 3 will undergo CRS plus HIPEC and then go on to receive standard platinum-based combination doublet intravenous chemotherapy, sub-group 4 will undergo CRS and then go on to intravenous chemotherapy. All patients will receive maintenance therapy with Niraparib after primary treatment. Prognostic information will be collected for investigation of survival benefits of patients.

The purpose of the Phase 1/2a study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of SNK01 in combination with trastuzumab or cetuximab in order to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD)/recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D), and the preliminary efficacy for each combination regimen.
In this alpha-radioimmunotherapy study groups of 3 patients with recurring epithelial ovarian cancer treated by salvage chemo-therapy and being in complete or good partial remission will receive one intra peritoneal infusion of 211 astatine (211At)-MX35 F(ab')2 . Patients will receive a single dose of MX35 F(ab')2 radiolabeled with increasing activity concentration of 211At in 1.0 - 2 L Extraneal® solution starting at an activity concentration of 50 megabecquerel per litre (MBq/L).
In this Italian, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled, phase III study the efficacy of exemestane will be evaluated in addition to the standard front line treatment in patients with hormone-receptor-positive high grade serous or endometrioid Epithelian Ovarian Cancer (EOC). The patients enrolled in the EXPERT trial will receive exemestane or placebo in addition to standard treatment. Patients and investigators will be blinded to study treatment. The hypothesis underlying the proposed clinical trial is that exemestane added to standard first line therapy will significantly prolong median progression free survival (PFS).
In this pilot study, ovarian cancer survivors will be enrolled and followed for six months to evaluate usage of an eHealth app called "Purposeful".
The researchers are doing this study to find out whether the researchers can combine information provided by PET/MRI scans with information from tests on blood and tissue samples to develop a very detailed description (profile) of high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC), which could improve our ability to treat this disease. The study researchers will use computers to analyze the combined results of the imaging tests and the genetic and immune system tests on the tumor samples. The study researchers think that this information will help them more accurately predict the way tumors respond to treatment, which may improve their ability to individualize treatments for this disease.
NACT is a heavy oncologic treatment, which can impair functional capacity, nutritional and emotional status. These three impairments are often ignored and not taken into account in the pre-therapeutic evaluations but are correlated with postoperative morbidity and mortality after major surgery. Recently, a prehabilitation before surgery, including physical, nutritional and psycho-social support, has been defined. From a literature review, the maximum oxygen uptake (VO2 max) seems to constitute a strong evaluation factor reflecting physical fitness, easily measured with a cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) at maximal effort. Several studies have shown beneficial effects of trimodal prehabilitation programs on postoperative functional capacity, return to daily activities and pain relief. Home-based program and connected devices may improve the feasibility and the compliance to this program. The hypothesis of this study is that performing a connected supervised home-based and patient-tailored multimodal prehabilitation program from diagnosis to surgery (with or without ERAS program) during NACRT, for patients managed for ovarian cancer, will limit physical fitness alteration and will positively affect postoperative outcomes. Our study consists in an early and multidimensional (combining nutritional, physical, emotional and medical support) prehabilitation program during NACT for patients with ovarian cancer, in order to limit physical alteration before surgical treatment, and therefore improve postoperative outcomes. It will include a home-based prehabilitation program, in order to allow care access to all eligible patients.
This is a first-in-human, open-label, multi-center, Phase 1/2, dose-escalation study with expansion cohorts to evaluate NM21-1480 for safety and immunogenicity, to determine the maximal tolerated dose and recommended Phase 2 dose, define the pharmacokinetics, to explore the pharmacodynamics, and to obtain preliminary evidence of the clinical activity in adult patients with selected advanced solid tumors.
This is an open-label, non-randomized, multicenter, dose-escalation and expansion study in patients with selected solid tumors.
