Comparison of In-Home Versus In-Clinic Administration of Subcutaneous Nivolumab Through Cancer CARE (Connected Access and Remote Expertise) Beyond Walls (CCBW) Program

This phase II trial compares the impact of subcutaneous (SC) nivolumab given in an in-home setting to an in-clinic setting on cancer care and quality of life. Currently, most drug-related cancer care is conducted in clinic type centers or hospitals which may isolate patients from family, friends and familiar surroundings for many hours per day. This separation adds to the physical, emotional, social, and financial burden for patients and their families. Traveling to and from medical facilities costs time, money, and effort and can be a disadvantage to patients living in rural areas, those with low incomes or poor access to transport. Studies have shown that cancer patients often feel more comfortable and secure being cared for in their own home environments. SC nivolumab in-home treatment may be safe, tolerable and/or effective when compared to in-clinic treatment and may reduce the burden of cancer and improve the quality of life in cancer patients.

Clinical Trial of Telenursing for Monitoring Supportive Care Needs in Patients With Lung Cancer and Melanoma Candidates for the First Prescription of Targeted Therapies

Single-center, randomized clinical trial (RCT) with low intervention level (Telenursing), for the monitoring of patients affected by lung cancer and melanoma who are candidates for first prescription with Targeted Therapies. The study population will consist of patients suffering from lung cancer and melanoma. The objective of the study will be to evaluate the effectiveness of a Telenursing intervention, comparing the mean score of the total SCNs scale (Supportive Care Needs) after one month of treatment in the treatment arm and in the control arm. Enrolled patients will then be randomized into two treatment arms: - Arm 1 (Control Group): current clinical practice - Arm 2 (Experimental group): Telenursing intervention.

This was a retrospective, longitudinal, observational study conducted using the Flatiron Health electronic health record (EHR)-derived database. BRAF+ advanced or metastatic (i.e., stage III or IV) melanoma patients treated at oncology practices across the US were identified for potential inclusion. All included patients were aged ≥18 years and required to have a diagnosis of melanoma (International Classification of Diseases (ICD)-9 172.x & ICD-10 C43 or D03x), a pathologic unresectable stage III or IV diagnosis, subsequent first-line (1L) treatment with either immunotherapy (IO) (nivolumab, pembrolizumab, ipilimumab + nivolumab) or targeted therapy (TT) dafratenib + trametinib (dab/tram) on or after 01 January 2014, and evidence of a BRAF-positive result at any point in time.

A Study With Combinations of Anti-LAG-3 and Anti-PD-1 Antibodies in Adult Participants With Advanced or Metastatic Melanoma

This study is researching an experimental drug called fianlimab (also known as REGN3767), combined with another medication called cemiplimab (also known as REGN2810), called "study drugs". The study is focused on patients with a type of skin cancer known as melanoma. The aim of the study is to see how safe and effective the combination of fianlimab and cemiplimab is in treating melanoma, in comparison with the combination of two medications, relatlimab and nivolumab, commercialized under the brand name Opdualag™ and approved for the treatment of melanoma in adults and children. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: - What side effects may happen from taking the study drugs. - How much study drug is in the blood at different times. - Whether the body makes antibodies against the study drugs (which could make the drug less effective or could lead to side effects)

ctDNA for Early Detection of Recurrence in Melanoma

This study examines circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as a biomarker for early detection of recurrence in high-risk patients, following treatment of primary melanoma. The hypothesis is that ctDNA can provide accurate detection of recurrence or metastasis, at the time of or earlier than current methods, leading to improved management and hopefully prognosis, based on earlier detection.

Adjuvant Tebentafusp in High Risk Ocular Melanoma

At least 50% of patients with high-risk primary uveal melanoma will develop a recurrence following treatment of the primary tumour. Observation is currently the standard of care in the non-metastatic setting. Tebentafusp is the first agent proven to improve overall survival in patients with metastatic uveal melanoma in a randomized trial. Based on the results in the advanced setting, it is hypothesized that treatment with tebentafusp may reduce the risk of development of disease recurrence.

A Study of MGC026 in Participants With Advanced Solid Tumors

The study is designed to understand the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and preliminary antitumor activity of MGC026 in participants with relapsed or refractory, unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors The study has a dose escalation portion and a cohort expansion portion of the study. Participants will receive MGC026 by intravenous (IV) infusion. The dose of MGC026 will be assigned at the time of enrollment. Participants may receive up to 35 treatments if there are no severe side effects and as long as the cancer does not get worse. Participants will be monitored for side effects, and progression of cancer, have blood samples collected for routing laboratory work, and blood samples collected for research purposes.
