Filter by:The SUPER trial is a prospective Phase II trial. It is designed for patients with stage 2 or 3 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) prior to surgery. Patients who are enrolled in this trial will receive combination of Non-ablative oligofractionated radiation (NORT) and two cycles of Durvalumab, an immunotherapy drug before their surgery.
There has been ongoing debate about the relationship between cancer recurrence and anesthetic management. Therefore, the investigators will test the hypothesis that the recurrence free survival (RFS) after curative resection of NSCLC is higher in patient who received total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) than volatile anesthetics in this multi-center randomized trials.

This study examines the biological and social determinants that may increase the risk for lung cancer in patients and never-smoking individuals. Biological characteristics of a person can include their genetics and social determinants of a person can include their education, income, and environment, all of which can impact their health. Information collected in this study may help increase early detection of lung cancer.
1. To explore the diagnostic value of musculoskeletal cross-modal imaging assessment system of ultrasound combined with abdominal CT/MRI for sarcopenia in patients with lung cancer. 2. To explore the value of musculoskeletal cross-modal imaging assessment system of ultrasound combined with abdominal CT/MRI in evaluating the prognosis and the effect of nutritional support in patients with lung cancer during perioperative period. 3. To explore the value of musculoskeletal cross-modal imaging assessment system of ultrasound combined with abdominal CT/MRI in evaluating the long-term prognosis of patients with lung cancer.
The goal of this study is to assess feasibility and acceptability of the Engaged Approach to Lung Cancer Screening (EA-LCS) in diverse lung cancer screening (LCS) programs operating in a variety of geographic regions across Colorado and the US.
Lung cancer is a common disease leading to 18 % of cancer deaths worldwide. Despite various improvement in treatment, there still remains low 5-year survival rate of 10-20 % in advanced lung cancer patients. Skeletal muscle mass and physical performance have been shown to effect overall survival and prognosis in lung cancer. This research focuses on effects of different treatment of lung cancer such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy on skeletal muscle mass and physical performance.
This clinical trial tests the impact of lung cancer screening care coordination interventions implemented at the system-level on lung cancer screening adherence in community settings. Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer death in the United States. Although lung cancer screening (LCS) with yearly low-dose chest computed tomography has the potential to decrease lung deaths, the use of this screening technique remains low. In addition, studies have shown that adherence to lung cancer screening in clinical settings is far lower that those found in clinical trials. Improved care coordination services that include comprehensive, system-wide tracking of screening outcomes for all LCS participants, results reporting with direct-to-patient information, direct patient and physician communication, and active reviews of non-adherent patients and stepped support interventions may increase patient adherence to LCS. Coordination services at the system-level may decrease barriers and improve adherence to lung cancer screening in community settings.
The purpose of this study is to assess efficacy and safety of patients who receive Adebrelimab combined with chemotherapy±chest radiotherapy as first-line treatment of extensive stage small cell lung cancer in the real world.
This study plans to conduct ctDNA testing on EGFR mutation-positive stage II-IIIA (N1-N2) NSCLC patients after radical surgery (R0 resection). Patients with positive ctDNA testing will receive standard treatment according to clinical guidelines, while patients with negative ctDNA testing will be assessed based on comprehensive clinical and pathological characteristics. After receiving or not receiving standard adjuvant chemotherapy, patients will be randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to either the observation follow-up group (experimental group) or the osimertinib adjuvant treatment group (control group). The aim is to explore whether observation follow-up for patients with negative ctDNA after surgery has a prognosis non-inferior to osimertinib treatment, and to investigate the disease-free survival rate of EGFR mutation-positive stage II-IIIA (N1-N2) NSCLC patients with positive ctDNA after surgery receiving osimertinib adjuvant treatment, providing more precise treatment guidance for adjuvant therapy in this specific type of NSCLC patients with EGFR mutation-positive tumors.
