The main question it aims to answer is: • To determine the effects of 8-weeks strength training program in traceurs. Participants were a given consent form and after subjects read and sign the informed consent, they were included in study according to eligibility criteria. 2 groups were included in study, Strength Group with parkour routine training was applied on group A and the control group, group B was provided with parkour routine training. Outcome was measured through different outcome measure tools.

NCT ID: NCT05726955 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Low-back Pain

The Effect of Exercise Applied With Stretching Platform in Patients With Chronic Low Back Pain

Start date: October 20, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aimed to examine and compare the effects of exercises applied with a stretching platform in addition to conservative treatment and conservative treatment only on pain, proprioception, balance, and mobility in patients with chronic low back pain. 55 people with chronic low back pain were included in the study and randomly divided into 2 groups. The participants in group 1 were included in the conservative treatment program, while the participants in group 2 were included in the exercise program applied with a stretching platform in addition to the conservative treatment. Pain intensity with Visual Analog Scale (VAS), proprioception sense with the active re-creation of passive positioning method without extremity support, mobility with Modified Schober Test (MST), Hand Finger-Ground Distance Measurement and Trunk Lateral Bending Measurement, balance level with Functional Reach Test, functionality with Oswestry Disability Index and quality of life was assessed with the EuroQol Group 5D-3L Questionnaire. In the study, statistically significant differences were observed between the results of pain, proprioception, MST, HFGDM and TLBM, FRT, ODI and EuroQol Group 5D-3L in intragroup evaluations (p<0,05). In intergroup analysis, the VAS score during activity and 15° right ankle plantar flexion in proprioception evaluation were superior in the Group 2 compared to the group 1 (p<0.05). It was observed that CT and exercises applied with a stretching platform in the treatment of chronic low back pain had positive effects on pain, proprioception, mobility, balance, functionality, and quality of life.

NCT ID: NCT05722457 Completed - Clinical trials for Physical Therapy Techniques

Comparison of the Effects of External Focus and Internal Focus Instructions Applied Chronic Low Back Pain: RCT

Start date: March 5, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Postural control methods are impaired in people with chronic low back pain. While the person maintains balance with pain relief, fear of movement and pain increase with loss of balance. It was found that externally focused exercises are more effective than internal focus exercises in terms of motor control and motor learning. To investigate the place of externally focused balance exercises in conservative treatment of target low back pain. For this purpose, approval was obtained from the clinical research ethics committee of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Faculty of Medicine, with the decision numbered 2022-18/163.

NCT ID: NCT05708781 Completed - Low Back Pain Clinical Trials

Efficacy of Core Strengthening and Intensive Dynamic Back Exercises in Patient With Low Back Pain

Start date: December 20, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study aimed to investigate the efficacy of core strengthening and intensive dynamic back exercises on pain, muscle strength, endurance, and functional disability in patients with chronic non-specific low back pain.

NCT ID: NCT05707143 Completed - Low Back Pain Clinical Trials

Effects of Home Based Stabilization and Kegel Exercises on Postnatal Females

Start date: October 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To compare the effects of home based stabilization exercises and kegel exercises on low back pain, disability and quality of life in postnatal females.

NCT ID: NCT05697848 Completed - Pain Clinical Trials

Pain Education in Chronic Low Back Pain

Start date: October 4, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) aims to reconceptualize pain from a marker of tissue damage to a marker of the perceived need to protect body tissue. The purpose of this study is to verify the long-term efficacy (6 months) of a Pain Education treatment in patients with chronic low back pain, compared to a conventional treatment.

NCT ID: NCT05690178 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Low-back Pain

Deep Tissue Massage in Office Workers With Chronic Low Back Pain

Start date: September 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The main objective of the study was to assess the impact of deep tissue massage on subjective and objective parameters in a group of office workers with chronic low back pain. Specific objectives: - Assessment of the impact of deep tissue massage on the level of pain - Assessment of the impact of deep tissue massage on the level of disability - Assessment of the impact of deep tissue massage on the mobility of the lumbar spine - Assessment of the effect of deep tissue massage on the discomfort threshold of tissue compression in the area of the erector spinae muscle - Assessment of the impact of deep tissue massage on the biophysical parameters of the soft tissues of the erector spinae muscle - Evaluation of the impact of deep tissue massage on the bioelectric potentials of the erector spinae muscle during everyday activities and the flexion-relaxation test Hypotheses: - Deep tissue massage will reduce the level of pain in the lumbar spine - Deep tissue massage will reduce the level of disability - Deep tissue massage will increase the range of motion of the lumbar spine in all directions - Deep tissue massage will reduce the threshold of discomfort when compressing the soft tissues of the erector spinae muscle - Deep tissue massage will reduce muscle tone and stiffness and increase the elasticity of the back extensor muscle - Deep tissue massage will increase the bioelectrical potentials of the erector spinae muscle while performing tests of activities of daily living - Deep tissue massage will reduce the value of the flexion-relaxation test

NCT ID: NCT05687695 Completed - Clinical trials for Non-specific Low Back Pain

NCT ID: NCT05684497 Completed - Low Back Pain Clinical Trials

THE EFFECTS OF PREVENTION PROGRAM ON LOW BACK PAIN AND QUALITY OF LIFE DURING PREGNANCY

Start date: July 9, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Although pregnancy is a natural process, it is a period in which some bio-physiological changes are experienced. These changes cause low back pain by affecting the musculoskeletal system as well as the endocrine, cardiovascular and renal systems. Pregnancy-related low back pain is defined as recurrent pain in the lumbopelvic region lasting more than one week. It can manifest itself in pregnancy as low back pain, lumbar pain, pelvic pain and lumbopelvic pain where both are present. In order to cope with low back pain in pregnancy and to increase the quality of life, low back pain should be evaluated in antenatal and postnatal follow-ups. Risk factors should be examined, women in the risk group should be identified, their low back pain experience should be questioned, prevention and coping strategies and the effect of low back pain on their quality of life should be evaluated. Healthy lifestyle programs should be developed to help prevent low back pain and develop coping strategies for pregnant women with low back pain.

NCT ID: NCT05682287 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Low-back Pain

The Effect of Radiofrequency of 448 kHz on Pain and Function

Start date: March 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this trial is to compare the effects 448kHz capacitive resistive monopolar radiofrequency (CRM) with Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) versus only PNF in chronic low back pain patients. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Is there any difference in interventions on reduction of pain. 2. Is there any difference in interventions on reduction of disability. Participants will in the experimental group will be treated with a combination of: 1. 448kHz capacitive resistive monopolar radiofrequency and, 2. PNF intervention Participants will in the control group will be treated only using 1. PNF intervention (identical to experimental group) Researchers will compare experimental and control group to see if there are differences in reduction of pain and disability.
