Hypoxia represents the prevailing adverse occurrence during the sedation of patients undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy with propofol. A recent innovation in this domain is the COMBO Endoscopy Oropharyngeal Airway-a multifaceted device that encompasses capnography monitoring, bite block , oxygenation support, and oropharyngeal airway management. This device has been purposefully designed to cater to the unique requirements of endoscopic procedures. The principal objective of our randomized study is to assess the efficacy and safety of the COMBO Endoscopy Oropharyngeal Airway reduce the incidence of hypoxia on patients undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy under propofol sedation.

Antiseizure Medication in Seizure Networks at Early Acute Brain Injury

The goal of this clinical trial is to explore the effect of FDA-approved antiseizure drugs in the brain connectivity patterns of severe and moderate acute brain injury patients with suppression of consciousness. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Does the antiseizure medication reduce the functional connectivity of seizure networks, as identified by resting state functional MRI (rs-fMRI), within this specific target population? - What is the prevalence of seizure networks in patients from the target population, both with EEG suggestive and not suggestive of epileptogenic activity? Participants will have a rs-fMRI and those with seizure networks will receive treatment with two antiseizure medications and a post-treatment rs-fMRI. Researchers will compare the pretreatment and post-treatment rs-fMRIs to see if there are changes in the participant's functional connectivity including seizure networks and typical resting state networks.

Predictors of Inhaled Nitric Oxide Responsiveness in Patients With PPHN

To identify biochemical, clinical, or genetic biomarkers that may predict responsiveness to iNO in neonates with PPHN/HRF. The primary outcome will be identification of any biomarker(s) associated with response to iNO therapy. We will evaluate related biomarkers at various time-points during disease progression and in response to therapy, including single nucleotide polymorphisms in the cyclic adenosine monophosphate/cyclic guanosine monophosphate-Phosphodiesterase (PDE) pathway, indicators of metabolic dysregulation and inflammation, as well as biochemical markers of heart strain. We will perform targeted neonatal echocardiograms to evaluate severity of PPHN and heart function both as an added clinical biomarker and to follow disease progression.

Assessment of Hypoxia Before Radioembolization Treatment With 18F-FMISO PET

Hypoxia is a known factor for resistance to radiotherapy in tumors. Response to transarterial radioembolization is known to be variable between different patients even if the same dose of radiation was delivered. In this study the investigators aim to quantify the hypoxia in the primary and secondary tumors of liver with 18F-FMISO PET before radioembolization and to prove any effect of the hypoxia, if present, on the dose that should be delivered to tumor to ensure treatment response.
