NCT ID: NCT06247514 Enrolling by invitation - Clinical trials for Disordered Eating Behaviors

The BEET Diabetes Feasibility Trial

Start date: January 5, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Disordered eating behaviors (DEBs, e.g., binge eating or restrictive eating) can significantly impact type 2 diabetes (T2D) self-management and engagement in treatment for diabetes. Managing DEBs is a treatment component in diabetes self-management; however, it is not often the primary focus, and trained behavioral health providers are inconsistently involved in comprehensive diabetes management. This study plans to pilot two behavior change programs for disordered eating in T2D and gather information on factors that predict successful adoption and implementation in real-world clinical settings.

NCT ID: NCT06243510 Enrolling by invitation - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

Comparison of Apixaban Versus Enoxaparin

CARE
Start date: November 24, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this randomized trial is to compare bladder cancer patient experiences taking prophylactic anticoagulation at home after surgery to remove their bladder. Why or why not? - Do patients prefer apixaban or enoxaparin? - What is the typical patient cost to take apixaban vs enoxaparin after surgery? Participants will be randomized to receive a prescription for either enoxaparin or apixaban which they will then fill themselves and self-administer at home until post-operative day 30. They will receive phone calls from study coordinators at days 30 and 90 to complete questionaries over the phone to assess trial outcomes.

This study consists of questionnaires and breath samples provided at 4 separate time points throughout the study. Participation in this study will take about 24 weeks.
