There are about 2656 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Puerto Rico. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of the study is the measure the levels of lasmiditan in the body of children aged 6 to 17 with migraine. The study also will also examine the safety and tolerability of lasmiditan in children aged 6 to 17 with migraine. The study will last about 6 weeks, and includes 4 visits.
The reason for this study is to compare the effect of the study drug tirzepatide to semaglutide on blood sugar levels in participants with type 2 diabetes. The study will last approximately 47 weeks and may include about 12 visits.
The primary objective of this study is to demonstrate the efficacy and safety of linzagolix administered orally once daily for 3 months at a dose of 75 mg alone or of 200 mg in combination with add-back hormone replacement therapy (ABT: estradiol (E2) 1 mg / norethisterone acetate (NETA) 0.5 mg) versus placebo, in the management of moderate to severe endometriosis-associated pain (EAP).
The main objective of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of elsubrutinib, upadacitinib (UPA), and ABBV-599 (elsubrutinib/upadacitinib) High Dose and Low Dose combinations vs placebo for the treatment of signs and symptoms of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) in participants with moderately to severely active SLE and to define doses for further development.
This is a multi-center evaluation of efruxifermin (EFX) in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study administered for 16 weeks in subjects with biopsy proven F1 - F4 NASH.
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab (MK-3475) with lenvatinib (E7080/MK-7902) vs. docetaxel in participants with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and progressive disease (PD) after platinum doublet chemotherapy and treatment with one prior anti-PD-1/PD-L1 monoclonal antibody (mAb). The primary hypotheses of this study are that pembrolizumab + lenvatinib (compared with docetaxel) prolongs: 1) overall survival (OS); and progression-free survival (PFS) per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors Version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) based on blinded independent central review (BICR).
This pilot project will determine whether a diet culturally-adapted to Puerto Ricans can effectively decrease cardiometabolic risk for diabetes. This will help define a culturally-appropriate, feasible, and sustainable diet intervention aimed at reducing type 2 diabetes and obesity outcomes.
The LimFlow System is intended for endovascular, minimally invasive procedures in patients who have a clinical diagnosis of chronic limb-threatening ischemia and who have been determined to have no surgical or endovascular treatment option (i.e., "no option").
Otherwise healthy index patients (IP) are randomized to either baloxavir marboxil or placebo if their influenza symptoms onset was within 48 hours of screening. Their households are enrolled within 24 hours of randomization if at least 1 household contacts (HHC) have not received influenza vaccine within 6 months of screening and if all HHC screen negative for influenza infection. The main endpoints are assessed based on multiple respiratory swabs, obtained from both IP and HHC up to 9 (+/-1) days post IP randomization, and through the assessment of symptoms.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the vaccine efficacy (VE) of a heterologous vaccine regimen utilizing Ad26.Mos4.HIV and aluminum phosphate-adjuvanted Clade C gp140 and Mosaic gp140 for the prevention of HIV-1 infection in HIV-1 seronegative cis-gender men and transgender individuals having sex with cis-gender men and/or transgender individuals.
