NCT ID: NCT05764200 Not yet recruiting - Insulin Sensitivity Clinical Trials

Acute Microbial Switch

Start date: July 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this project the investigators will test if it is possible to measure changes in intestinal gas production after supplementation of a complex fiber mixture over a 36 hour period in both lean normoglycemic individuals and individuals with insulin resistance and/or prediabetes with overweight when compared with a placebo Changes in intestinal gas production will also be related to energy expenditure, substrate metabolism, microbial composition and related metabolites in feces, blood and urine.

NCT ID: NCT05752149 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Larynx

Fluorescence-guided Surgery in Laryngeal- and Hypopharyngeal Cancer: a Feasibility Trial

STELLAR
Start date: June 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, single-dose, prospective clinical trial. The study comprises 2 work packages. The main objective of work package I (WP-1) is to assess feasibility of Fluorescence imaing (FLI) during total laryngectomy (TLE) and to assess the optimal dose of the cRGD-ZW800-1. Work package II (WP-II) is designed to assess whether FLI can detect and decrease tumor positive margins after a TLE.

NCT ID: NCT05751044 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

HEM-iSMART-B: Dasatinib + Venetoclax + Dexamethasone + Cyclophosphamide and Cytarabine in Pediatric Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Hematological Malignancies

HEM-iSMART B
Start date: October 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

HEM-iSMART is a master protocol which investigates multiple investigational medicinal products in children, adolescents and young adults (AYA) with relapsed/refractory (R/R) ALL and LBL. Sub-protocol B is a phase I/II trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of dasatinib + venetocolax in combination with dexamethasone + Cyclophosphamide and cytarabine in children and AYA with R/R ped ALL/LBL whose tumor present with alterations in the MAPK/SRC pathway.

NCT ID: NCT05745857 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Esophageal Adenocarcinoma

Oral Bevacizumab-800CW and Cetuximab-800CW Administration to Detect Early Esophageal Adenocarcinomas

SLURP
Start date: May 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Previous studies have confirmed the great potential of quantitative fluorescence molecular endoscopy (qFME) when looking at additional lesion detection initially missed by high-definition white light endoscopy (HD-WLE) for surveillance of Barrett's esophagus.

NCT ID: NCT05745714 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, in Relapse

HEM-iSMART-C: Ruxolitinib + Venetoclax + Dexamethasone + Cyclophosphamide and Cytarabine in Pediatric Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Hematological Malignancies

HEM-iSMART C
Start date: October 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

HEM-iSMART is a master protocol which investigates multiple investigational medicinal products in children, adolescents and young adults (AYA) with relapsed/refractory (R/R) ALL and LBL. Sub-protocol C is a phase I/II trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of ruxolitinib and venetoclax in combination with dexamethasone, cyclophosphamide and cytarabine in children and AYA with R/R ped ALL/LBL whose tumor present with alterations in the IL7R/JAK-STAT pathway.

NCT ID: NCT05743153 Not yet recruiting - Ulcerative Colitis Clinical Trials

Feasibility of a Multimodal Intervention Program to Optimize Treatment Outcomes in Ulcerative Colitis

OPTIMIZE-UC
Start date: October 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective, interventional pilot study to assess the feasibility and optimal timing of a multimodal intervention program in Ulcerative Colitis (UC) patients with active disease as well as in patients in remission. Secondly, to demonstrate the effects of a multimodal intervention program on individual patients level and therapy outcomes.

NCT ID: NCT05731375 Not yet recruiting - B-cell Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Mitochondrial dysfUnction: a Key Player in Doxorubicin-induced Skeletal and Cardiac muscLE Damage

MUSCLE
Start date: April 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this observational study is to demonstrate the ability of using non-invasive Phosphorus (31P) Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) to monitor changes of in-vivo markers of mitochondrial function in skeletal and cardiac muscles in muscles in large B- or T-cell lymphoma patients during treatment with (R-)CHOP. The main question it aims to answer is: • Can 31P-MRS be used to monitor changes of in vivo markers of mitochondrial function in skeletal and cardiac muscles in large B- or T-cell lymphoma patients during treatment with (R-)CHOP? To be able to answer this main question, participants will undergo 31P-MRS imaging of the calf muscles and of the heart 3 times during the study period.

NCT ID: NCT05728255 Not yet recruiting - Syncope Clinical Trials

Assessment of the Mechanism of Non-cardiac Syncope

2STEPS
Start date: April 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Identifying the mechanism of non-cardiac syncope is the essential prerequisite for an effective personalized therapy. Aim of this multicentre, prospective, cross-sectional, observational study is to assess effectiveness and diagnostic yield of a two-step standardized assessment which consists of 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) and of tilt-table Short Cardiovascular Autonomic Function Battery (SCAFB) which consists in carotid sinus massage (CSM), limited to patients ≥40-year-old, standing test, and head-up tilt test (HUT) performed one after the other in an uninterrupted sequence as a single procedure on a tilt table

NCT ID: NCT05726240 Not yet recruiting - Stroke, Ischemic Clinical Trials

RCT of Ghrelin in Stroke Patients

MR GENTLE
Start date: October 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

About half of the patients with acute ischemic stroke treated with endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) remain dependent on the help of others or die in the first 90 days. We hypothesize that treatment with ghrelin, started in the first six hours after stroke onset, improves early recovery and long-term functional outcome in these patients. Ghrelin is a naturally occurring hormone and mildly excitatory neurotransmitter also known as the 'hunger hormone.' Treatment with acylated ghrelin consistently improved functional and histological recovery in in vitro and in vivo models of ischemic stroke.

NCT ID: NCT05725577 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheum@Home: RA Remote Patient Monitoring

R@H
Start date: June 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this pragmatic multicentre clinical trial is to investigate whether telemonitoring with Rheum@Home leads to less outpatient visits, while maintaining tight disease control and high patient-experienced quality of care in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Participants will be asked to - complete questionaires every 4 weeks - perform a walking test every 4 weeks - routine lab - routine disease activity measurement by a qualified assessor Researchers will compare care via the telemedicine system (intervention) or standard care (control) to see if there are differences in the number of rheumatology outpatient visits and patient reported quality of care after 12 months follow up.
