NCT ID: NCT06152562 Completed - Cardiomyopathies Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Platelet Therapy Response in Left Ventricular Assist Device Patients

Start date: December 6, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this study is to evaluate the incidence of any hemocompatibility related adverse event (HRAE) after LVAD placement in patients responsive to a standard aspirin dose using point-of-care platelet inhibition monitoring compared with initial non-responders who were then up-titrated to achieve a therapeutic response using individualized acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) therapy. Second, to investigate whether patients exhibit temporal changes in ASA sensitivity during LVAD support.

NCT ID: NCT06151964 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH)

A Trial to Learn How Safe AZD9550 is in People With Type 2 Diabetes Who Are Overweight or Obese

CONTEMPO
Start date: September 29, 2023
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

AZD9550 is in early development for the treatment of NASH, a type of liver disease that commonly affects overweight and obese patients who have T2DM. The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety, tolerability, and effects of increasing doses of AZD9550 in overweight and obese participants aged 18 through 65 years living with T2DM, and to investigate how AZD9550 is absorbed, distributed, and eliminated from the body.

NCT ID: NCT06147674 Not yet recruiting - Stroke Clinical Trials

Evaluation of VQm PHM on Pulmonary Health Parameters for ICU

Start date: January 15, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this observational study is to compare pulmonary health parameter measurements from the VQm PHM™ to existing clinical measurements. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Confirm the performance of non-invasive pulmonary health parameter shunt fraction value found on the VQm PHM™ when compared to available reference measurements. - Confirm the performance of non-invasive pulmonary health parameter pulmonary blood flow, functional residual capacity and physiological dead space found on the VQm PHM™ when compared to available reference measurements.

NCT ID: NCT06147440 Recruiting - Diet, Healthy Clinical Trials

Different Dietary Patterns

Start date: October 20, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the present study is to determine the effects of different standardized dietary patterns on general health markers, intestinal function, immune response and affective processes/ cognitive skills in healthy subjects.

NCT ID: NCT06141733 Recruiting - Death Clinical Trials

2 Year Follow up of COSGOD III

COSGODIII-FU
Start date: January 1, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The COSGOD III trial performed follow up until term age or discharge from the neonatal intensive care unit, whatever came first. The first neonate was randomised in September 2017 and the last in October 2021. A prospective follow up of the included neonates until an age of two years was not feasible in the COSGOD III trial since funding for long-term follow-up was not available. However, data on long-term outcome of the included neonates into COSGOD III trial are of high interest. In many centres, who participated in the COSGOD III trial neonates are assessed routinely for long term outcome in outpatient clinics with Bayleys III/IV test or PARCA-R (Parent Report of Children's Abilities) questionnaire. Aim of the present study is therefore to analyse in neonates, who were included into the COSGOD III trial, in a retrospective observational study routinely performed long-term survival and neurodevelopmental outcome assessment at a corrected age of 2 years (18-30 months).

NCT ID: NCT06140836 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung

A Study of Repotrectinib Versus Crizotinib in Participants With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI)-naïve ROS1-positive Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) (TRIDENT-3)

Start date: December 21, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of repotrectinib and crizotinib in participants with locally advanced or metastatic TKI-naïve ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

NCT ID: NCT06138808 Enrolling by invitation - Clinical trials for Epilepsy Intractable

5-SENSE Score Validation Study

Start date: January 9, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to assess how well a new scoring system called the 5-SENSE score can predict where seizures start in the brain using Stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG). The 5-SENSE Score is a 5-point score based on routine presurgical work-up, designed to assist in predicting whether SEEG can identify a focal seizure onset zone, thereby sparing patients the risk of undergoing this invasive diagnostic procedure.

NCT ID: NCT06136624 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Prostate Cancer Metastatic

Study of Opevesostat (MK-5684) Versus Alternative NHA in mCRPC (MK-5684-003)

Start date: December 31, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase 3, randomized, open-label study of opevesostat compared to alternative abiraterone acetate or enzalutamide in participants with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) with respect to overall survival (OS) and to radiographic progression-free survival (rPFS) per Prostate Cancer Working Group (PCWG) Modified Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumors (RECIST 1.1) as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR) in participants with mCRPC previously treated with next-generation hormonal agent (NHA) and taxane-based chemotherapy. It is hypothesized that opevesostat is superior with respect to OS and rPFS per PCWG Modified RECIST 1.1 as assessed by BICR in androgen receptor ligand binding domain (AR LBD) mutation-negative and -positive participants.
