There are about 4010 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Argentina. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The objective of this prospective, international cohort is to incorporate the low stable pressure (using Airseal Insufflator) approach and its associated parameters into the early rehabilitation program after colorectal surgery so as to shorten hospitalization up to the ambulatory care and reduce postoperative pain and opioid consumption.
The purpose of this study is to learn about the study medicine called elranatamab. This study aims to compare elranatamab to other medicines for the treatment of MM (a type of cancer). This study is seeking participants who: - Are 18 years of age or older and have MM. - Have received treatments before for MM. - Have MM that has returned or not responded to their most recent treatment. Half of the participants will receive elranatamab. The other half of participants will receive a combination therapy selected by the study doctor. The selected combination therapy will include 2 to 3 different medicines commonly used to treat MM. Elranatamab will be given as a shot under the skin at the study clinic about once a week. This may change to a smaller number of shots later in the study. The medicines in the combination therapy will be taken by mouth (at home or at the study clinic) AND will be given either as: - a shot under the skin at the study clinic - through a needle in the vein at the study clinic The number of times these medicines will be taken depends on what combination therapy the study doctor selects. Participants may continue to receive elranatamab or a combination therapy until their MM is no longer responding. The study team will see how each participant is doing with the study treatment during regular visits at the study clinic. The study team will continue to follow-up with participants after study treatment with telephone contacts (or visits). The study will compare the experiences of people receiving elranatamab to those people receiving a combination therapy. This will help learn about the safety and how effective elranatamab is.
The goal of this clinical trial is to test if Plateth-rich plasma would provide improved pain relief and function in patients with rotator cuff tendinopathy compared to standard treatment of corticosterone injections. Researchers will compare a control group of patients treated with a corticosterone injection with a case group of patients treated with Plateth-rich plasma injection. The purpose of this study is to perform a double-blind randomized controlled trial, comparing PRP with corticosteroids to provide pain relief and improve function in patients with rotator cuff tendinopathy. The hypothesis of this study is that PRP would provide improved pain relief and function in patients with rotator cuff tendinopathy compared to standard treatment of CS injections.
This is a parallel, Phase 3, two-arm study for the treatment of newly diagnosed moderate or severe chronic GVHD. The study duration for a participant includes up to 4 weeks for screening; a treatment period until clinically meaningful cGVHD progression (defined as progression requiring addition of new systemic treatment for cGVHD), relapse/recurrence of the underlying disease, participant starts new systemic treatment for cGVHD or experiences an unacceptable toxicity, at the request of the participants or the investigators, or until the end of study is reached, whichever comes first; at least 30 days follow-up of adverse events (AEs) after the last dose until resolution or stabilization, if applicable; and long-term follow-up until death or study close-out, whichever comes first.
The purpose of the study is to see how effective JNJ-77242113 is in participants with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis compared to placebo and deucravacitinib.
The objective of this observational study is to explore microcirculation in healthy volunteers and in ventilated patients in the operating room and in critical care. The general objective of this study is to evaluate microcirculation with photoplethysmography (PPG) in different pathophysiological situations and to compare PPG with available standard methods. Specifically, evaluate the correlation between the determinations of AC-DC waves obtained by Photoplethysmography (PPG) and those obtained in different dynamic tests in healthy volunteers. To compare microcirculation assessments [capillary refill time (CRT), perfusion index (PI), perfusion index variability (PIV)] with measurements obtained by PPG in the context of critically ill patients. To compare microcirculation assessments (CRT, PI PVI) with measurements obtained by PPG in the context of patients on invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) in the operating room and in critical care.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of repotrectinib and crizotinib in participants with locally advanced or metastatic TKI-naïve ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
The purpose of this study is long-term evaluation of long-acting injectable cabotegravir (CAB LA) for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in eligible participants who have completed DAIDS (Division of AIDS) sponsored studies HPTN 083 and HPTN 084 and associated sub-studies. Participants will continue receiving CAB LA and be followed for new HIV diagnosis, SAEs (serious adverse events), Grade 3 and Grade 4 ISRs (injection site reactions), and AEs (adverse events) leading to withdrawal.
The primary objectives of this study are to compare sacituzumab tirumotecan to Treatment of Physician's Choice (TPC) with respect to progression-free survival (PFS) per response evaluation criteria in solid tumors (RECIST 1.1), as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR), and overall survival (OS). The primary hypotheses are that sacituzumab tirumotecan is superior to TPC with respect to PFS per RECIST 1.1, as assessed by BICR, and that sacituzumab tirumotecan is superior to TPC with respect to OS.
This study will look if CagriSema can lower kidney damage in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD), type 2 diabetes (T2D) and overweight or obesity. CagriSema is a new investigational medicine. CagriSema cannot yet be prescribed by doctors. The study will compare CagriSema to the 2 medicines semaglutide and cagrilintide, when they are taken alone. It will also compare CagriSema to a "dummy" medicine (also called placebo) without any active ingredient. Participant will either get CagriSema 2.4 mg, semaglutide 2.4 mg, cagrilintide 2.4 mg or placebo. Which treatment participant will get is decided by chance (like flipping a coin). Study doctor will not know which of the study medicines participant will get. For each participant, the study will last for about 35 weeks.
