NCT ID: NCT03018054 Completed - Clinical trials for Moderate Active Ulcerative Colitis

Study of E6007 in Japanese Patients With Moderate Active Ulcerative Colitis

Start date: November 28, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-center study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of E6007 once daily for 8 weeks in Japanese participants with moderate active ulcerative colitis. Participants will be stratified by prior therapeutic treatment and Mayo score at Baseline, and will be randomized 1:1:1 to receive E6007 30 milligrams (mg), E6007 60 mg or placebo.

NCT ID: NCT03016780 Recruiting - Ulcerative Colitis Clinical Trials

Fecal Microbiota Transplantation for Ulcerative Colitis

FMTFUC
Start date: July 2016
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Ulcerative colitis is a common digestive system disease, the incidence is increasing in recent years. It is reported that the occurrence and development of ulcerative colitis is closely related to imbalance of intestinal flora .Moreover, intestinal mucosal immunity may be related to intestinal flora. Fecal microbiota transplantation as a new technology to rebuild intestinal flora has been used for several diseaseļ¼Œbut the efficacy of ulcerative colitis by fecal microbiota transplantation needs to be further explored.

NCT ID: NCT03014284 Withdrawn - Colon Cancer Clinical Trials

Novel Listeria Vectors Secreting Gut Flora-Altering Agents to Prevent Colon Cancer and Treat Colitis

Start date: January 20, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a simple tissue collection study with no therapeutic intent. Colon tissues will be taken from standard of care procedures. Tissues will be tested for their functions, expression of immune co-signaling molecules and reactions to transduction with recombinant Listeria vectors to assess effects on expression of B7-H1 and cytokines.

NCT ID: NCT03011268 Active, not recruiting - Colitis,Ulcerative Clinical Trials

Anti-tumor Necrosis Factor in Patients With Ulcerative Colitis in Clinical Remission: to Continue or Not?

BIOSTOP
Start date: June 9, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective is to assess if discontinuation of anti- tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF) treatment in ulcerative colitis patients in sustained clinical remission, with the option to restart treatment in the case of relapse, is non-inferior to continued anti-TNF treatment. Secondary objectives are to assess the efficacy and safety of restarting anti-TNF treatment after a relapse

NCT ID: NCT03006809 Completed - Ulcerative Colitis Clinical Trials

Optimal Fecal Microbiota Transplant Dosing for Mild to Moderate Ulcerative Colitis

Start date: March 2, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective unblinded, randomized trial for the use of Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) for the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis (UC), in combination with or without antibiotic pretreatment.

NCT ID: NCT03006068 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Ulcerative Colitis (UC)

A Study to Evaluate the Long-Term Safety and Efficacy of Upadacitinib (ABT-494) in Participants With Ulcerative Colitis (UC)

U-ACHIEVE
Start date: January 31, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is designed to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of Upadacitinib in participants with ulcerative colitis (UC) who have not responded at the end of the induction period in Study M14-234 Substudy 1, who have had loss of response during the maintenance period of Study M14-234 Substudy 3, or who have successfully completed Study M14-234 Substudy 3.

NCT ID: NCT03000101 Active, not recruiting - Ulcerative Colitis Clinical Trials

Study of the Role of Pomegranate Juice Ellagitannins in the Modulation of Inflammation in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

POME2016
Start date: January 19, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this research is to study the effects of a pomegranate juice on calprotectin levels in patients suffering of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in clinical remission. Fecal calprotectin levels, surrogate marker of mucosal inflammation, will be measured from baseline to 12 weeks later (end of intervention). Systemic and mucosal changes of biochemical and molecular inflammatory response markers will be also assessed.

NCT ID: NCT02998112 Recruiting - Ulcerative Colitis Clinical Trials

Fecal Microbiota Transplantation for Ulcerative Colitis Through Colonic Transendoscopic Enteral Tubing

Start date: December 2016
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

To indicate the efficacy of Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) for the treatment of Ulcerative colitis (UC), The investigators design a multicenter, randomized controlled trial to perform FMT through colonic transendoscopic enteral tubing (TET) way, and evaluate the efficacy and safety of FMT for patients with moderate or severe UC.

NCT ID: NCT02994836 Completed - Ulcerative Colitis Clinical Trials

GIS-SUSANTI-TNF-2015 (Anti-TNF Discontinuation )

Start date: April 21, 2017
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This study will be a multicentre prospective randomized trial to assess the percentage of patients with IBD who, after stopping anti-TNF treatment, have sustained clinical remission at one year compared to those in which the treatment is continued at stable doses
