Filter by:This registry aims at enrolling all consecutive patients presenting with at least one chronic total occlusion at coronary angiogram as diagnosed during angiography in our catheterization laboratory during 1 year. All patients will undergo - whenever possible - a cardiopulmonary excercise test and a non-invasive investigation for myocardial ischemia/viability (by means of echo-dobutamine stress test or perfusion scintigraphy or cardiac magnetic resonance) prior to any eventual revascularization therapy. All patients - including those treated by medical therapy only - will repeat the same investigations after one year of follow-up. In addition to these investigations, clinical outcome and quality of life (including the Seattle Angina Questionnarie and a dedicated depression questionnaire) will be evaluated at baseline and at follow-up. Primary objective of this study is to investigate the improvement in physical conditions (as expressed by the performance at follow-up CP test), the reduction in ischemia (as evaluated by follow-up non-invasive imaging tests) and the severity of angina according to clinical assessment (including Seattle Angina Questionnaires [SAQ], Canadian Class Score[CCS] and 6-mins walking test).

Therefore, this study is designed to assess the heat transport characteristics of meridian phenomenon for the Heart and Lung meridians by using infrared thermal imaging. Thus, the biological characteristics of meridian phenomenon could be presented objectively in a scientific methodology.

This is a multi-center, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel-group phase 3 clinical study to confirm the safety and efficacy of T89 in patients with stable angina pectoris, with an extended open-label period to evaluate the long-term safety of T89. This study includes three main periods: the first study period is a 3-week single-blind qualifying run-in period to screen eligible stable angina patients by exercise tolerance test (ETT). The second study period is a 8-week double-blind treatment period to evaluate the efficacy and safety of T89 in patients with stable angina by ETT. And, the last study period is a 44-week open-label period to observe long-term use safety of T89.
The Prospective REgistry of Stable Angina manaGEment and Treatment (PRESAGE) is an observational study on an all-comer stable angina population hospitalised in a highly specialized cardiovascular centre with cardiac surgery facilities. The aim of the study is to assess the clinical characteristics, treatment modalities, early and long-term outcomes in this population.
Introduction: Recent studies have suggested that trimetazidine may help reduce myocardial damage following percutaneous coronary intervention. However, the evaluation of the potential of this medication in the reduction of myocardial damage in patients with diabetes mellitus and unstable angina, in a prospective and randomized way, has not yet been described. Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the use of trimetazidine versus placebo in patients with diabetes mellitus and unstable angina undergoing coronary stent angioplasty. Methodology: For this, a unicentric, randomized, double blind and prospective study will be performed in a comparative manner. Hospital data (test results, medical outcomes, drug dose, complications) of patients will be analyzed for safety and effectiveness. Myocardial damage will be measured by means of ultrasensitive Troponin dosages. Expected results: The use of trimetazidine reduces myocardial damage in patients with diabetes mellitus and unstable angina undergoing coronary stent angioplasty.
The study is to evaluate efficacy and safety of low dose of ticagrelor therapy for Chinese unstable angina patients treated with non-urgent coronary stent implantation, to examine whether lower dose ticagrelor (45 mg twice-daily) is not inferior to standard dose (90 mg twice-daily) for the prevention of major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, as well as will reduce the incidence of bleeding during long-term treatment.
The purpose of this study is to verify whether additional administration of Alirocumab exerts a stronger stabilizing effect on the vulnerable plaque in CAD, compared with statin alone administration in patients receiving PCI. Therefore, the change in maxLCBI (4 mm) of the coronary artery 9 months after administration by addition administration of Alirocumab is evaluated as the main evaluation item as compared with statin administration alone for patients who have CAD and received PCI. Also, change of plaque properties is compared with baseline and evaluated. This study is a single-center, randomized, open-label study, using alirocumab, rosuvastatin as test drugs. Based on the findings obtained in this study, it is possible to clarify the mechanism of stabilization of the plaque in a patient with coronary artery disease, which in turn suppresses the progress of plaque in coronary artery disease, resulting in primary or secondary There is a possibility that it can contribute to prevention.
