The Effect of Multidomain Dietary Education in Type 2 Diabetic Adults

The goal of this clinical trial is to [learn about cognitive stimulation by multidomain dietary education including the dietary board game via LINE in non-dementic type 2 diabetic adults. The main questions it aims to answer are: [Question 1: Could multi-domain dietary education as cognitive stimulation improve cognitive function?] [Question 2: Could multi-domain dietary education improve dietary control belief ?] [Question 3: Could multi-domain dietary education improve health behavior?] [Question 4]: Could multi-domain dietary education improve HbA1C, and lipid profile? Participants of experimental A group will receive a video about lifestyle education 5 minutes weekly for 3 weeks, a dietary board game 10 minutes weekly for 10 weeks, and a 24-hour dietary recall record 2 times weekly for 7 weeks. And participants of the experimental B group receive the usual clinical treatment. Then experimental A and Experimental B groups will cross over 12 weeks later. Researchers will compare the effect of intervention between the experimental A group and the experimental B group.

Feasibility of an Online Exercise Community Among Individuals With Type 2 Diabetes

The aim of this study is to evaluate the feasibility, fidelity and acceptability of an 8-week high intensity online physical exercise combined with online group meetings and supported with an activity tracker in individuals with type 2 diabetes. The design of the intervention will be developed using a co-creation approach. The intervention consist of eight weeks of 30 minutes online physical exercise followed by 30 minutes of online group meeting in Microsoft Teams once a week. Outcomes includes pre-defined research progression criteria and secondary outcomes of physical and mental health and participant feedback.

The aim of this intervention clinical study are: evaluation the effect of vitamin D supplementation on anti-oxidant status, inflammation, insulin resistance in patients type 2 diabetes mellitus. The research question is how the effect of vitamin D supplementation for 3 and 6 months on anti-oxidant status, inflammation and insulin resistance in patients type 2 diabetes mellitus. The main tasks participants will be asked to do: - interviews, filling the questionnaires, and giving informed consent after receiving an explanation by the researcher about the purpose of the research - taking blood for screening examination which includes examination of Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT), albumin, creatinine and blood Ca. - participant who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria, performed a physical examination (height and weight) and blood collection for examination 25(OH)D. - Subjects/participant with vitamin D deficiency and insufficiency will be included in randomization, two groups: the group that received vitamin D3 5,000 IU and the group that received a placebo. Vitamin D 5000 IU and placebo taken daily for 6 months. - Observations for 3 months and 6 months from the first time supplementation was given. High Protein Effect on Body Composition and Sarcopenia Markers in Older Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

This study will investigate the impact of dietary protein intake on progressive muscle loss and functionality (sarcopenia) in older adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Sarcopenia is known to have a bidirectional interaction with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Therefore in order to address this bidirectional complication we suggest that an increased intake of dietary protein at 1.5 gr/kg/day (current official recommendation is 0.8 gr/kg/day) could help to treat the sarcopenia, which in turn will help to ameliorate the type 2 diabetes mellitus progression.
